Signings like this piss me off
Delph will get a fat £120k per week contract but not get in the team (fair play to the lad setting himself up for life)
However when he can't get a game, goes on loan he will demand a huge wage from a lower team at his level
You then get sides that pay over the odds for these players or players that have a massively over inflated opinion of them selves

I actually makes a nice change he's rejected them as they are only in for him to fill a quota.

Fair play to him.wants regular football and man city can't offer him that.be interesting to see what happens with clubs like man city and chelsea who have to get some homegrown players in if established prem players start following delph's lead

Are you watching Asmir Begovic? It's easy to reject 75k a week when it isn't yours! I think Delph would walk into the Man City midfield tbh, Fernando and Fernandinho are both awful.

Fabian Delphi is a great midfielder, he's finally fulfilling his potential he was showing at Leeds. He also seems loyal to villa aswell! Sterling should look at this man and take notes on how to conduct yourself.

A bit of a breath of fresh air in modern day football.

Bego already pocketed £6 million plus from us. He's made for life. Playing should be more important now rather an extra couple of million in the bank? Surely if he wants a big move, he gets a move to a team where he can be first choice. To me this move is a waste. It's not like the rest of us where doubling your pay means family security, nice cars, nicer house, nicer holidays. He's already got all of that.

Villa fans suggest he failed his medical He was reported as having a medical Not seen any media suggest he failed it however it's the most believable version of events I would say.

Fair play Staffs. Maybe he wasn't convinced he would get in ahead of Fernando and Fernandinho? He's perhaps thinking cement his England spot by playing every game at Villa and move on next summer.

I have it on very good authority that LMH has spoken to him and he will be a Stoke player replacing the Fonz by the weekend.
