There's a few house martins in our street. My old man spotted them the other day. They're nesting in the house being me in the eaves of the roof. They are like little airplanes zooming round. You havn't seen the Big Owl of Trentham Lakes again then?

Charlie Dimmock. Remember her with the big tits and no bra. She was quite unusual, and always in the garden.

Think i saw a yellowhammer in a patients garden in Bayston Hill today I think I'd check Siskin before ticking that one off mate. Unless Bayston Hill is over in the east. Good if it was a yellowhammer. I'm not a twitcher though... I'm not a twitcher either, but isn't yellowhammer the more likely?

I've seen Siskins but never knowingly seen a Yellowhammer locally. I was under the impression that Yellowhammers are in decline and now more prevalent in the East of the country. I was just chucking something into the mix.

I have them nesting under the eaves outside the bedroom every year, they make a lovely sound to wake up to, shit everywhere but it washes away Sent from my SM-G850F using proboards

Mumf Yes we saw a few endemic birds of the Island and a few sub species of the birds we see here, and the local endemic lizards were everywhere. Went out in a catamaran, saw 3 types of dolphins around the boat, a loggerhead turtle, flying fish, no whales close by but we did see some in the distance when up on a viewing platform (europes 2nd highest cliff) they looked like tropical whales. They have one of those glass platforms you can walk out on and look at the drop below, the tall well built yank (not fat well built) sat on solid ground with his head in his hands, shaking, asking his kids who were running around it, to not kill themselves and come off en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabo_Gir%C3%A3oAnd there were some nice young ladies walking about in skimpy clothes but it's not a younger persons holiday destination.

there you go mumf, our lodgers for the summer Not a bad effort that . ! They only had to rebuild a bit of it, held up pretty well over the winter, we have these at the front and bats swoop around the back at dusk, a bugger last night when the lads got the big telescope out to look at jupiter and venus. Also had a robin nest in the nestbox in the cotoneaster, and blue tits nested in the nest box at the side of the house. Thinking of buying some house martin nest boxes that you can buy now and putting them outside another bedroom for next year Sent from my SM-G850F using proboards
