Question: Do we really want players at Stoke who do not really want to play for the club? Or would we prefer to engage lesser talents who are willing to bust a gut for their team because that's the way they are?

100% N'Zonzi.
(Not that arsed about Kono at all as I'd have Moses back first so it was an easy choice really!)

Kono signing, I doubt every 6 months he'd be wanting to leave to be be a sub on someone's bench Disagree. You're sacrificing a pivotal player for a gamble who may or may not be a hit. Bigger names than Kono have failed to adapt to the rigors of the Premier League.

Anyone that says Kono either knows fuck all, is mad or is a mix of the two.

Both, different players so not an either or.
Hobsons choice wasn't a choice you had to take the horse nearest the door or nothing.

So what your suggesting is we should never have any ambition and attempt to sign average players who will try harder? Sent from my C6603 using proboards

I'd play Rooney up top with Sterling and Sturridge either side of him. And for God's sake, I'd pick Shawcross over the shithouses we have at the back at the moment.
Oh, Hobson's choice.

You forgot Option 3> Sell Nzonzi for 80m, fuck Kono off and sign Raheem Sterling for 50m I would still choose Nzonzi over Sterling though
