If we get £16m for two players who would be free agents next summer I think we've done OK as disappointing as it seems. Yeah. Kind of agree, Jamo. I actually thought they'd both be off and thought £8m apiece was about par. It's all about the N'Zonzi replacement now. Absolute critical. He's the heartbeat of the side It's really hard to view this with any sense of perspective, mate as it's very disappointing to lose players of their calibre but I don't think we could reasonably have expected much more. With nigh on £20m added to the original kitty following the TV deal surely we are going "all in" now?

Stoke Loud & Proud Just now · Asmir could be following Nzozni out the door this week with ManU poised to sign him. Chelsea for all their effort have not upped there offer to him as they cannot offer him ultimately what he wants, the number 1 shirt. De Gea is expected to leave Manu in the next couple of days and same for Begovic. (Marc)

If there was another player coming our way as a part of the Bego sale, who else could there be?

Stoke Loud & Proud 1 min · Right ManU we have been told have offered James Wilson. We know have heard that Chelsea have offered Marco Van Ginkel as part of the move for Begovic. Van Ginkel will be a loan with a view to a perm deal. (Marc)

Not gonna lie, this from his Wiki page sounds really promising:
Style of Play Van Ginkel primarily plays as a central midfielder but has been lauded for his ability to play in a multitude of positions including defensive midfield and across the attacking midfield.[citation needed] From his early playing days at Vitesse he has primarily played in an attacking role, however, has matured in his ability to play in a deeper defensive role. Despite his young age, Van Ginkel is recognized as a solid, well-rounded player who has all the tools of a future superstar. On the pitch he is widely known for his maturity on the ball, super ball control and an extensive range of passing. He is comfortable with both feet, makes intelligent runs into the box and has an exceptional long-range shot.[34] Van Ginkel has described himself as “a real box-to-box player. I can score goals but I can also be important to defense.” [35]
Current Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, holds the youngster in high regard and has likened him to England greats Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard. He has described Van Ginkel as an engine with immense physical power. As with several others, Jose is quick to point out his overall game, “He covers a fantastic area of the field defensively and after that he has this instinct where he wants to go into finishing areas, he wants to score goals. He’s very good in the air.”[36]

But it's all down to him. Didn't Van Ginkel have a really bad injury pretty much as soon as he joined Chelsea after joining as a really highly-rated youngster?

He'd be crazy (deluded) to choose Chelsea over Man United.
Either way I'd like to see Van Ginkel here next season
Loves a tackle by the looks of it!

Didn't we get 70 odd million for last season? As we do every season under the current deal. Didn't mean we did any more than break even! I guess you would factor in the additional £30 million odd per season starting next season over a 4 or 5 year contract though so you would certainly expect to consider offering new players higher wages than we would have done previously.
