Success on the pitch is what brings the cameras - absolutely correct
but here - we're arguing the toss about a very easy, obvious, 'small potatoes' decision, already approved planning wise, (which tells you the club have considered this)
that is also very easy to fund and deliver (given our income) and
yet,the club seem unable to make
and perhaps as worryingly, many who follow our club, seem happy with this unhappy but poignant 'stalling' of our progress off the pitch
Im not

The club don't own the stadium so don't know why we're arsed about that tbh! Not sure if you're being serious?? I am. bet365 own everything but within that the club and stadium are owned by two separate companies I believe. This happened a few years back and seems a bit weird to me.

It's so if the club went under debtors couldn't come after the stadium Really? Yup, it also gives security to bet365. A football club is worth nothing with nowhere to play. But it does have a risk of the club and stadium becoming disassociated

The ground has no impact on tv appeal. If you lower prices for the corner, prices would have to be lowered around the ground. And the problem with lowering ticket prices is?... What do TV want? Big stadiums full of noisy fans. How do clubs make money? Ticket prices or TV? It's that simple. It would be like water off a ducks back to the club to fill a corner with safe standing and price it at £15. Not sure how long it would take to get their money back but financially its peanuts given the sums of money coming in. This is where clubs should be allocating some of their TV windfall not increased wages, fees etc for players and agents but looking after real football fans and making football more affordable.
