I can't listening to him and my wife says she needs subtitles. It's awful. Can only manage about 10 minutes for I have to either turn off the sound or change the channel.

I fancy Chile to nick a goal and hold on for a 1-0 win

Seeing as I backed Chile to win the last World Cup I thought I'd stick with them on home turf here. If I've worked it out right they should avoid Argentina/Brazil untill the final. What chance you give 'em, PotterLog? Whay-hey Who needs Salas & Zamarano?! (That was their names wonnit? When they had that ace forward line about, erm... Actually how long ago was that now? Must have been over ten, maybe nearer twenty years ago?... Was that even their names? )

Hopefully this is the kick up the arse that Chile needed to push on in international competitions! I always thought they came across as a very talented bunch who lacked confidence to go toe to toe with the Brazil's and Argy Bargeys of South America. I know most on this board don't rate the lad but that Gary Medel would be ace at Stoke, fits us to a "T".
One last comment, second most impressive side at this tournament was Peru, that CC bloke looked interesting for them.

I caught the back end of Salas' career when I first came to Chile about eight years ago. He was fat and old but still a different class from everyone else on the pitch.
