It's in the 2nd sentence. I read it but I took that as a separate note, I really can't see Bojan taking that long, and not including injuries means he'd drop someone, was more curious to who it was. I wouldn't go so far as to say he'll get all the game time mentioned above., but I expect he would get more than the pre-Bojan injury since Ireland will now definitely be 3rd choice. IMO, 5m is not enough to justify removing him and his contribution from the squad. It's not even as though he's old either, although he looks it.

Thought Charlie was amazing the last games of this season! Charlie had such an influence that we hardly missed Bojan at all in those games!!!

He's better than Bojan. Keep him at all costs. Not sure of that, but he really played well after he forced his way back into the starting 11!

He's better than Bojan. Keep him at all costs. No way. Bojan is worth £24Bn - that's over 40 times more than Adam!

Bojan fit or not (which I don't think he will be) Charlie should start the season, too costly to sell as he would score goals for a rival club, no question.

Hypothetical question: if N'Zonzi leaves would a midfield three of Whelan, Adam, Bojan be a decent blend? No. We already need an upgrade on Whelan in my opinion. Adam although fitter could not manage all games. Bojan is still in recovery and even when fit will be a bit fragile I imagine. Plus losing N'Zonzi would be a massive blow and likely require a huge outlay brining someone else in to replace him. None of the other 3 mentioned here can do what he does, as well as he does it. Yes undoubtedly we'd need to sign players if N'Zonzi goes, I was more talking about more of a one off basis. I know that none of those three has the engine of an N'zonzi but Adam gets plenty of challenges in and I'd love to see him and Bojan linking up. It'd be a good experiment anyway.

Charlie Adam? Match winner. One of the few in the side who can be shit for 89 minutes, but score the game winner with a sublime piece of skill. Always a danger with the ball at his feet.

A fit Charlie Adam will be a key factor for next season He will indeed. I think he had some issues following his Father's passing, which is completely understandable, a lot of us have been in a similar place mentally I'd imagine. Hopefully he'll keep his focus on fitness during this close season and be able to put a full 90 minutes in each week from the start of the season, fantastic asset when he's fit.

He's better than Bojan. Keep him at all costs. Have you come back off your 'trip' yet? Theres no way Charlie is better than Bojan. Bojan is on a different planet to anyone weve had here for a long, long time. However, Charlie is one of only 3 match winners we have (Him, Bojan and Arnie) in that he can be shite, then blast one in or create something from nothing. True, he wont get much game time if Bojan picks up from where he left off, but Charlie can still contribute 5-6 goals a season at least from (mostly) the bench. To sell him for anything less than 10 mill would be SCANDALOUS. I think I might have gone off on a bit of a tangent here...
