Would think the best meet up pub would be Jamesons Distillary Pub , Friesenstraße 30, 50670 Köln , big enough and certainly friendly / welcoming enough to football fans etc . We fly in on Thursday but a midday Friday meet up would be a good start to the weekend . Like a lot on here we re staying in the Courtyard Marriot , Jamesons is a bit of a trek from the hotel but well worth the visit. This place? www.jamesonpubs.com/Looks a little bit out, or is it busy with locals bars there as well? There's plenty of places around the cathedral area There are quite a few bars around Jamesons , I was in there a few years ago and it was full of Liverpool fans playing a champions league game in Germany so know they are good with football fans . Not sure of any other bars to recommend to be honest due to the number of Stokies travelling for this.

I hear that there are a few low costs tours including en suite 'back of the van' facilities booked - pay on the gate Including our local celebrity 'roll up man' Should be a good number in total

I'm assuming the category 2 tickets are just a slightly lesser quality seat rather than a concession price? If so I think I'd much rather buy a category 2 ticket for both days and save 20 odd quid. If it's the same stadium that hosted World Cup games in 2006, it's a proper old school, stands almost on the pitch type venue. I was in a n upper tier behind one of the goals and it was fine. It's also a stadium that generates a good atmosphere. I don't forsee too many bad spots to sit. Hope this helps.

There is no official programme so I have had a few unofficial issues made with all the proceeds going to Donna Louise trust let me know if you want one in advance as it is a very low print run. They will be on sale in the stoke section of the stadium O16 in Cologne

Opted for the cheaper ones, doesn't sound like there's too much difference in terms of the view. Can't wait!

Hi Denty, you need to take the number 1 from the Rhein Energie Stadium to Deutz/Messe (they normally go every 30mins at 14mins past the hour.I guess they may put on some specials which will take you to Neumarkt (then take the 1 or 9 from the same platform as you get off at for three more stops to Deutz/Messe) When you get out at Deutz underground follow the sign for the Messe through a long tunnel and then upto platform 10 (check this when you are there) and catch the S13 to the airport. This runs every 30mins at 13mins past the hour. So total travel time is 41 mins. 19:44 Stadium -> 20:25 Airport 20:14 Stadium -> 20:55 Airport www.vrsinfo.de/fahrplan/fahrplanauskunft.htmlHope this helps - if not let me know

Whats the format, as we already know who we are playing on both match days, so no semi final/final set up. Presume GD will determine the winner, as 2 teams could both win both of their games.

We're flying in to Düsseldorf on Friday morning, what's the best way to get to Colonge from the airport? Staying at a hotel on the same road as the stadium.
