Any chance of a link mate? No article, I have linked a tweet from Pete himself but maybe it's not showing. He didn't go into great detail but I'll update the thread if/when SCFC post an article detailing his recovery/return

If it was Bojan then Bojan Mackay would be offering to rub it better.

Not big news, but good news You don't know that. From the looks of him, that groin could be very big news.

I thought it was hernia operation? That is in your groin Not necessarily Billy . A hernia is a condition in which part of an organ is displaced and protrudes through the wall of the cavity containing it. It's most often the stomach wall muscle which allows an intestine to protrude but it can also occur in the groin area. Know this because my old man has had both groin and stomach hernias operated on. They can be stitched up but sometimes it's necessary to reinforce the muscle wall with mesh insert.

I thought it was hernia operation? That is in your groin I had a herniated spinal disc. Last time I checked that wasn't part of my groin.

I had a herniated spinal disc. Last time I checked that wasn't part of my groin. Not a doctor but can confirm, the spine and the groin are two different things.

Good news. Best Plan B in the Prem. Top professional and a touch of genius in a squad. I hope that when he finishes his playing career he's still linked to us and he can join our Academy/Management structure. Steady in defence if we need to shut up shop, and available for a cross or for a touch of trickery. Icon.

Agree with you in reference to the touch of genius mate, he's in a class of his own in a number of departments, with (first) touch being one of them...

I had a herniated spinal disc. Last time I checked that wasn't part of my groin. You're right It's possible to herniate various parts of your anatomy, as in a Hiatus hernia, Umbilical hernia and herniated disc , but when people refer to a hernia they are generally talking about a femoral hernia in women or an Inguinal hernia which is the most common type of hernia for a man. I don't know for sure that that is what Crouchy had but I was responding to Wokingham's query . It is certainly very common in footballers. I've had a slipped disc myself so, I can empathise with you, as I know how bloody painful they can be. It may be in your back and not your groin but its certainly a ball ache.

Shows how much we've grown as a team. We're now capable of rotating and still putting in the performances. Quality stuff. It's a great time to be a Stoke fan.

Hughes has only fielded the same 11 on two occasions, not just in consecutive matches.
Did we win both games ?
