Signing cheap players and selling the players who are on top wages is the only route they can sensibly go down. They have no transfer embargo on them at present and they are doing the sensible thing in signing relative unknowns for their time in the Championship. They will no doubt fight the fine through the courts but, win or lose, they have to reduce their wage bill don't they?

They can still sign players and a lot of their old guard are on their way out on a free which will help.

They're doing what was expected in signing young hungry players, the exact opposite of what they have now.

Really hope that they do, as has been suggested, keep Chris Ramsay on. I think he's been the most dignified aspect of their Premiership campaign.
