My first thoughts were ...I wonder if mark would be interested in Westham if they came knocking. i think, if he's given the backing, he will want to have a go at getting us into Europa first before moving on When has he not been backed. He has made shrewd signings who are on big wages.

If Liverpool or Everton come calling I'll be worried but not West Ham. They are abit more famous than us because of the London biased media but it would be step down rightnow

I honestly can't think that West Ham would be in anyway an interesting prospect for Mark Hughes.

I haven't said he hasn't for the position we are in, I'm saying if he's backed for the next step, ie Europa surely this is in his mind the next step? otherwise he hasn't anything else to prove here. especially if a club like West Ham have ambition and money to back that. personally I think he will be backed by the Coates family for that next step

There's no doubt about it. He is becoming a wanted man.
Especially after the performance yesterday.
Think he would laugh at the suggestion of West Ham actually.
Liverpool though ....????

A move to West Ham would bit a bit sideways an d would put him backwards on his career path . Hughes must also realise where his strengths lie , having £50 mil dropped in his lap and be expected to provide instant gratification isn't what he's been good at is it

I've never considered West Ham to be a bigger club than us.Ever. We are now on course to be the equal of Everton and one or two other clubs around about us in the league. The right signings will prove this beyond all doubt in the close season. We are on the up, and Hughsie knows it, as does Peter Coates! Oh! And forget about the crowd figures, I'm on about the team.

We had the whole day at The Old Hall in Madeley, the weather was brilliant which was good seeing as though we got married outside I didn't disgrace myself, well not anymore than my lady has come to expect anyway

I have always seen West Ham as a similar side to us in terms of stature, yes they have won 1 or 2 cups in their history but that does not make them bigger than us, otherwise we could argue AFC Wimbledon are also a bigger club than us.
At this moment in time I think we are quite a bit ahead of them though - Unless they get a rich Russian chairman I cant see the point of Hughes moving there
