He's a great player to have and I think him being back in the Scotland reckoning will benefit everybody.

He's anonymous away because he's out of position, his best position is the role N'Zonzi enjoys.
If N'Zonzi was to leave in the summer I'd be happy to see us give Charlie a go in that role, certainly more so than Leroy Fer. Obviously I'm not suggesting we should cash in on Steven.

Superb at home, fairly anonymous away and therein lies the dilemma. It's a squad game though and he's a matchwinner so there should always be a place in the squad for him. How to get him and a fully fit Bojan in the team could be interesting though? He turned up at Stamford Bridge

He'll be fat and unfit for 6 months when he comes back, history shows he's only fit enough from January onwards. Let's hope he keeps himself in good shape over the summer. Not this year, he's in the Scotland squad so will be training and hopefully playing to the middle of June, and would expect stoke to be back early July, which only gives him 2/3 weeks to lose his fitness, the Scottish team will keep him sharp over the summer Not forgetting that whilst he's away his diet will be controlled by the Nutritionists & Dietitions in the Scotland camp. He'll be back fatter than Rick Waller.

But he was played in a strange very fucked up formation.

5 goals in 8 games from CM. Can't argue with that.

How to get him and a fully fit Bojan in the team could be interesting though? My thoughts exactly. I dont think you can (get them both in the team together). I am not convinced Bojan would have scored as many as Charlie. Interesting dilemma for Hughes.

Either way, he won't have a place when Bojan is back.
