I wonder what Ian Wright and the Everton bloke (I've forgotten his name) have never done that Mama has!

Are these games on sky over here !? Yep I remember watching the last one and they had torrential rain and the pitch was the worst pitch I've ever seen in a top stadium, they have changed the location this time though, they didn't call the games off either they just shortened them to 40 minute halves.

I thought that, I didn't recognise him at first! Re this tournament, is it the one Sunderland won a few years back and their fans thought they were going to finish top 6 based on it and that Jozy Alitdore (it might have been another one of their wank players) was indeed not going to be the useless lump he is?

Not a clue. If so, I hope we're a lot more down to earth. I mean ffs, they put the Arse against Singapore FC? That could end in bloody double figures if Arsenal actually go for it. I'm not exactly confident we'll beat Everton. We tend to do shit in pre-season anyway.

At the end of the day it's two meaningless friendlies. The results mean naff all. In fact I hope we lose, I always feel better when we've had a shit pre-season results wise.

So not fixed at all, just the rules.

The Asia Trophy is commercialised, to expect them not to cater for the wider Arsenal audience by increasing their chances of making the final would just be bad business on their part. Sad but a fact of life and modern football.

What would you prefer, Hull v Singapore as the opener, with the winners facing the winners of West Brom v Sunderland. It's called marketing, and using your best assets to do so, and in this case Arsenal are the team that are invited to spearhead this particular marketing campaign...
