First half yesterday was by far the best football we have played since the Rochdale incident. I find it baffling as to why that is? Does Arnautovic only perform in the spring?

Alternative question does Arnie perform best on the left, if so why do we need Moses?

Very very good team performance yesterday and the only disappointment for me was we didn't win by 5 or 6 which our play merited imo.So many players were on top of their game and probably Arnie's best game in a Stoke shirt. Also we MUST sign N'Zonzi as a priority this summer because when he plays well so does the team.

Alternative question does Arnie perform best on the left, if so why do we need Moses? But we need to find a way of getting Arnie to perform well on a regular basis. When he performs well, he's good enough for any team in the league.

Arnautovic plays best on the left wing as you say, and needs to be made to feel important to the team, it's no coincidence that his performances have increased when Moses left, as he knew he was the best player for the left wing

Makes sense I guess.

Ryan and Wollshied don't mix. They are both good players.

If both Moses and Arnie are fit, at the moment then Arnie deserves his place in the starting 11 - he is stronger and better at chasing back at the moment That would be a test as to if Arnie can respond to the challenge. Moses on loan again for me, but prefer another striker to add to our attacking options

Very impressed with Diouf - excellent in defence yesterday - players need to anticipate his attacking runs.
Goal was very well taken, it's only his first season with us

Great idea Tommy / Wilko to be acknowledged at half time if they are not involved the game.

Needs constant reassurance he is doing a good job, and sees not playing as he is not doing something right. That's a pretty fatal character flaw for a top flight footballer. Given his inconsistency its not one we can afford to pander to if we want to challenge for 6th

Liverpool have a Cup Final?????????? Sorry missed the sarcasm I need another glass of wine- I'm not sure that Gerrard will play at the Brit but if he is there we should give him some applause. BUT our main celebrations should be aimed at our squad and the management

Was surprised Begovic wasn't at the game yesterday tbh,i hear he was in a Pub in Uttoxeter The Dapple Grey whilst the match was on but he did tweet later congratulating the lads on the win.

Hi Ange, thanks for the mention. Actually yesterday's was the second official get-together for the new Malta branch of the Stoke supporters' club. Last year we met for the first time and then we witnessed the annihilation of Fulham in a 4-1 home victory. Then yesterday we met up and many of us were hoping we could avoid defeat against Spurs, given the disappointing run we were having prior to yesterday. It was thrilling to watch us put the kind of performance our team did from the word go and to win 3-0 was absolutely fantastic. Believe it or not there was an English family from Stoke, in the pub and they were thrilled to join the boisterous atmosphere at Rabokk Pub. Peter, the landlord served us with some lovely food to go along with the beer which we washed down as we watched the goals go in. Talking about superstition the Maltese Stokies were amazed that I picked the Spurs game to meet up and yet again this coincided with such an emphatic win. As you know I regularly visit the Britannia and it's known among my friends there including Margaret S and Colin B that they look forward to my visits as they usually co-incide with landmark victories such as my last one ... the 3-2 win vs the Arse-nal. Thanks for all your mentions and retweets yesterday ... it made my fellow Maltese Stokies absolutely thrilled. As I said a big thank you to Peter Muscat - the landlord of Rabokk pub - for being such a fantastic host. Our next do, however, has to be in Malta and we are looking for a friendly pub to host us while we watch another Stoke game. Our next big ambition is to invite one of the senior players over and I can promise him he'll remember the visit for the rest of his life because there are some genuine Stoke fans here and they are such friendly people, too. Cheers to Russ, too.

One interview with Butland seemed to suggest that he knew that he was playing mid week - not sure if it was on Sky or whether I have dreamt it!
If Liverpool are the favourites to sign him then would he play in the last game against them?
It will be a shame if we don't see Asmir in a Stoke shirt again but Butland is the future

What about Danny Rose yesterday, too scared to come out of the dugout and looked like he was covering his face so no one would recognise him.Amazing what a crowd can do to a player.

Dembele was very friendly with our management team yesterday as he came out before the match and even shared a joke with Bowen and Eddie.I realise he's played for Hughes before and it looks like there is mutual respect between them all and it wouldn't surprise me to see him with a red and white striped shirt on next season.
