Were the cameras rolling?
Was this great "PR" for Ronaldo plc?
I'm sorry this guy may be pretty good at football but arrogant pr1ck who can smile for the cameras. Tom Cruise taking selfies with fans outside premiers doesn't make him a nice guy.
I watched the match against Juventus last night and the entire team looked scarred not to pass to Ronaldo. Bale never got a kick because no one would pass to him just in case he out shone Ronaldo.
Cann't stand the guy and the sooner he retires the better.
Aaaaaaaarrrgggghh
:-)

1 of the best 2 footballers in the world. More money than he knows what to do with, healthy and as toned as can be, sleeps with women only we can dream of.
Who wouldn't be arrogant? The very best in any field usually are.
Jealousy is a utter bitch though.

He is a fantastic bloke to be fair I'm not sure that's even up for debate. He does a lot with charity and from what I understand he often goes above and beyond for the 'make a wish' kids, he also refuses to have a tattoo as it would mean he is unable to give blood. It's funny that on the pitch he has a sort of 'bad boy' attitude and Messi the opposite where as from what I've heard Messi can be a real dick and Ronaldo is a great bloke!
either way the more players like Ronaldo the better

I have heard the same about Messi being a dick to people. I've seen a few videos of him rejecting kids autographs and such while Ronaldo seems to do as much as he can, he may be an absolute twat on the pitch but to be the best you have to have some arrogance at least he doesn't let it seep into his life off the pitch. Messi to me comes across as a brat.

Not Messi's fault it's genetic........

The irony of course, is that Lionel Messi is painted as the glorious young humble man, with a heart of gold while this man is portrayed as an evil villain. Ronaldo does huge amounts for charity, far more than Messi ever has. He routinely does blood drives and donates large amounts back to his own town which was quite a poor area of Portugal. He also seems to be a genuinely nice guy off the pitch, while an absolute animal on it. Messi as painted as a nice guy in the media, but let's not forget that about 12 months ago, there were plenty of rumours and accusations that Messi was supposedly pulling most the strings at Barcelona and had tried to get Luis Enrique sacked over some dispute. Wasn't there also player conflict with Messi at the World Cup? I'm sure I read something about him refusing to speak to several players in the team and then after losing the final, he refused to stand with the other players as they waited for their medals, instead standing in front of them by a few metres or so. I've always got the impression that he's a cunt, but playing for Barcelona means the media paints him as some angelic darling, while Ronaldo is painted as the big bad monster because he plays for Real Madrid. www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/watch-lionel-messi-refuses-substituted-4467619Imagine if Ronaldo or Suarez did this? There would be hell up.

Messi does loads for charity....he just makes sure he gets paid for it whilst making DAMN sure no-one finds out about him getting paid for being a "Nice guy" Messi has simply been able to afford the right people to hide his capitalist tendencies whilst ensuring they also put across a saintly image of him at the same time, he's massively more PR orientated than Ronaldo is and knows the right people in the press which is why the media always seem to be so quiet when he's investigated for tax fraud and defrauding charities set up in his name.

He really does get up my nose on the field, but I really must try to bear in mind that he actually isn't a bad sort off the pitch, and cut him a bit of slack.

Even if kid just made effort using google translate in order to communicate in his language, even just to say hello, it is still far bigger effort than most people make when they go to holiday somewhere. Nobody in that crowd has reason to laugh because of if his pronunciation. They should be very encouraging of such respectful attitude.
