One of the ships I was on was part of stanaforlant (standing naval force Atlantic) that worked very well, no French UK, yanks, canadians, norwegians, dutch (submarine), italians, portugese and a couple of other smaller europeans, no problems. Some people look for the problems in things before they even know the full proposals or the history and how it's worked for many years. NATO works fine doesn't it? So what happens when we're part of this and the Argentinians decide to make a land grab for the Falklands? Can you see Spanish, French and Italians supporting action? Same as last time when we were part of NATO and they tried, we go and fook them off. Have you read where Cameron and Milliband said they wouldn't sign up to it?
