...who both puzzled & bemused, attempted to stick up for us when the Stewards deemed the "Caerwrangon Stoke City" flag, to be well....let me explain. Flag was tied in place, nice & secure on the back of the stand. Couple of other examples around to, again fastened to hoarding advertising "Swansea, City of Culture". Within 2 mins, Stewards had popped up & starting untying its cords. The explanation being it was covering the advertising, and "upstairs" were not happy! Hang on! What about the other Stokies flags? "Not our problem, its advertising cost....you can fasten it here, but between the letters on the hoarding " So a 10ft flag, can fit between a couple of inches of letters?! Maybe it was the shock of seeing a Welsh flag at a Swansea game that made us feel the wrath of the flag police

Advertising :-) where was it that Holland played when some of their fans had advertising on their kits that wasn't official? Did they have to strip?

I wonder if the Stewatds helped the Dutch fans to remove their shorts ;-p Strip

"I watched the game in my pants," Mr Schreurs, 33, added. "Fortunately I had quite a long T-shirt."
Bloody hell, must have been big pants. Felix and his amazing underpants

Perhaps he was the only gay In the village.

They did try to find somewhere where it could have been placed & fastened, but with our fans having the front seats this time that was a no no too.Old Trafford. Not allowed (no away flags alledgedly). Spotland. Not allowed (I blame Martin Atkinson ) and The Liberty.
