Looking at the run-in, I think Sunderland are in trouble.Could come down to them beating Leicester or not. Southampton H Everton A Leicester H Arse A Chelsea A It's always a mug's game to predict, but I've just done of those prediction things and I've got them going down I've just had a go at that. I doubt it's likely to go this way, but it would be hugely entertaining (and stressful) if it ended up like this after the final day: 14...Leicester...38....-16.... 3815...Hull..........38....-17.... 3616...Aston Villa.38....-22.... 3617...Burnley.....38....-23.... 3618...Newcastle.38....-24.... 3619...Sunderland38....-36.... 3120...QPR..........38....-26.... 28

I think it's going to stay as it is, pity cause I would love Burnley to stay up at the expense of Leicester.

I believe Sunderland will get the drop this year. Richly deserved ???? Looking at Sunderlands run in that's quite possible and highly desirable. The game against Leicester is mahoosive because I don't see them picking up many more points if Saturday was anything to go by. Mind you if Saturday was anything to go by you'd have thought we were in the relegation zone as well

I've just had a go at the predictor and without being deliberately favourable to us (our only loss is away to Swansea) got the table below. I think Blunderland are in deep trouble looking at their remaining games. Just a pity Burnley look like going and also a pity either Newcastle or Villa don't look like going with them. Can't see Leicester getting 43 points though so my predictions are a bit suspect somewhere along the line !
1 Chelsea 38 50 92 2 Arsenal 38 42 82 3 Man City 38 41 79 4 Man Utd 38 29 74 5 Liverpool 38 12 64 6 Southampton 38 23 63 7 Tottenham 38 6 62 8 Stoke 38 0 56 9 West Ham 38 4 54 10 Swansea 38 -5 54 11 Everton 38 2 49 12 C Palace 38 -10 43 13 Leicester 38 -11 43 14 West Brom 38 -21 38 15 Hull 38 -18 37 16 Aston Villa 38 -22 37 17 Newcastle 38 -24 37 18 Sunderland 38 -35 30 19 QPR 38 -30 28 20 Burnley 38 -33 26

Have always thought Toon would be okay - but if it stays like this, they've got to be in the mix. That'd be 8 losses on the trot and Carver looks like he'd have trouble motivating a dog to bark.
If Leics beat Toon...
14 Newc 35 35 15 Hull 34 34 16 Leic 35 34 17 Vill 34 32 18 Sund 33 30 19 QPR 34 27 20 Burn 34 26

No sympathy for the toon they hounded Pardew and now they've got what they've wanted a Geordie in charge they're sinking.

Well that's the two down as expected - but the third spot is still quite open?
Looks most likely to be Hull although the Geordie boys could still surprise / delight us!

Great weekend there earlier in the year and looking forward to going next season....although could stay in Newcastle and drive across to Sunderland for that fixture?

You can stay in Newcastle anytime! Great city. Could also use it as a base for Boro if they come up.

Losing at home against a Burnley side whose survival chances were so slim and goalscoring record was so poor, was a very ominous result for Hull. That was the game they had to win, looking at what lies ahead for them.
I just can't see past Hull going down now. Sunderland have a canny manager in Advocaat - their record under him is impressive; Villa probably need only one more point to be absolutely safe; Leicester's momentum under Nutter Nige seems irrepressible; Newcastle might have stopped the rot with their point and performance yesterday. Hull have never really impressed me when I've seen them play and I don't think they have enough to dig themselves out of it.

Looks odds on Hull to me being 2 points behind and very difficult fixtures.
I just hope they pull it out of the fire and send one of the Geordie teams down. I can't decide which deserves to be relegated the most; I'm talking owners, not the fans.

Im going for Dull. 2 points adrift and it probably feels like 10. Don't know what Bruce is up to but it won't look good on his CV. They've spent money

Hull look as though they are in trouble to me, although from my usual standard of predictions I daren't even suggest QPR and Burnley are in trouble.

Yeah, it's definitely done a 180 degree turn yesterday. Hull are going to have to pull out something special or they're doomed.
Credit to Sunderland. Not sure quite how they've done it, but they've managed to play Russian Roulette 2 years in a row and seemingly get away with it.

It's got to be Hull. With that run in they're just not going to pick up any more points.

Hull have never won a premier league match in may, omens and all that. But then again, I said in this thread earlier that Newcastle would be fine...

Their morale must be shot to shit...

Sunderland seem to have acquired that key ingredient everyone needs down there. Sheer luck. Their goals against Everton were as flukey as you get. Fair play to them though, the devil nearly always shits on your breakfast in their position.
