Denis smith hinted the other week that there was a dressing room bust up. The rumour I heard was it was between whelan and Bardsley, hence the reason we haven't seen bardsley since. It could be bullshit but you never know

I think Bardsley was worth a try on the free but I'd be happy for him to move on at the end of the season. I've not been impressed, IMO he's bang average.
I don't mind Geoff as back up, he always seems to have a good knack of getting his toe to a ball to break up play. Hopefully we'll get an upgrade at the end of the season.

That whole right hand side needs a bit of an upgrade and surely a priority for MH, especially if this "hint" is true.

I was pleased when we signed Bardsley who is an authentic right back. However I think we can do better.

I think MH has to make his mind up about RB. Does he need to buy big or not? I think Bardsley is good enough to do a job, but not top 10 Prem. class. Cameron is not a top 10 Prem RB either but has more strings to his bow. If MH has decided to buy in the summer, he has to decide which player to sell. I think Cameron has got into the side on the back of Bardsley's injury and number of yellow cards. Cameron has played well enough not to justify dropping and I think MH will keep players in if they are performing well. Or maybe MH is making his mind up about whether to keep Geoff and giving him a thorough trial in the RB role. Bardsley's form has declined as the season has progressed, so why should MH put him back in? (So he will on Sat. )

Has Bardsley played for us since the Rooney punch?

Has Bardsley played for us since the Rooney punch? It was reported on March 15. He hasn't played since.

I'd be surprised if it was anything to do with that sparring non-story?
As has been said, could equally coincide with his shocking bit of defending for the West Brom goal the day before that
Although that would appear harsh as I don't think he'd been particularly bad in that little run of games.
It will be interesting to see if he goes for a right-back, as he doesn't appear overly enamoured with either of them.
It'll also definitely be revealing to see whether Cameron gets a contract extension. I think Walters will get one - but genuinely can't predict whether Wilson, Adam or Geoff will

Yeah, think it's a lot more likely his performance against WBA is the factor than the Rooney thing.

Bardsley (like Bayern) is a bit of a "Jack the Lad"..... Les doesn't approve.

Would not be too depressed if we don't bring in any new right backs as I think the two we have are OK, but in my view Cameron is the better of the two. Of course I can see that it's possible to improve our right back options, but as said they are both OK players. As things stand now I think a new winger and a defensive midfielder might be the two positions we really need to improve. Hopefully we'll buy Moses and hopefully we'll see a fully fit Odemwingie as well! i agree with all of that.

Was he rested because he was on 9 bookings and a two match would have accrued prior to 12 Apr. I have not seen him have a good game against us and sadly liable since he joined but an MH team needs a RB who can attack and cross a ball to a Stoke player and be defensively have positional awareness.

Actually I was looking for an opportunity to throw "Jack the Lad" and Bayern into the same post and this seemed the right place. What does Jack the lad actually mean. Is it your typical Burslem chav? A guy who likes to have a good time? Or a bozo?

Yeah, think it's a lot more likely his performance against WBA is the factor than the Rooney thing. And the fact he has shite distribution and cannot dribble. But the defensive lapse surely helped Hughes change it round after WBA.

I cant remember a goal from a bardsley cross. I remember a really good goal from a GCam cross (Crouch vs Newcastle)

Was Shotton any better or worse than these two? Hard to say as they all have equal flaws. Saying that, Shotton did piss off Hodgson scoring that goal, so that settles it for me. Go get him Sparky!

Cameron all day everyday, more athletic going forward, but does need to focus more on his distribution.
