We don't go all out to ruin players careers when they injure one of ours. Arsenal could learn something, although they play professional victim very well...

We are a working class club with fans that care and are as passionate as any other and see endeavour and effort on a par with talent and flair. Our owners run the club well and create for others rather than for themselves we should be an inspiration to others and they should wish to be us.

One of the very few clubs in the world whose history goes beyond 1870 and one of the founder members of the first ever football league. Sir Stanley Matthews and Gordon Banks, two of the game's true gentlemen with truly international reputations. Owned by local, English businessmen who are fans of the club, in the truest traditions of the game. Players who are loyal to the club, who stay with the club and, upon retirement, maintain that their time at Stoke was their happiest time in football. A club that looks after its players, honours verbal agreements and contracts, and does not pay silly money to inspire their commitment in return. A club that develops potential and has committed funding to one of the best training facilities in the country, with an academy that is growing in its reputation for excellence. One of the best medical teams in the Premier League. A commitment to keeping prices for tickets low. Free away travel provided by the club, now in its second year (which other club, when you buy a ticket for an away game, offers you a free bus to get as part of the package?). A passionate fanbase that has stuck with the club through thick and thin, keeps its expectations at a realistic level, and has learned the art of patience and the wisdom of long-term strategy. A unity of purpose that runs like a steel thread that binds the fans, the players, the management team, and the board. We all buy in to what Stoke City has been, is now, and what it can be. Every day of my life, like all of us, being a Stokie has shaped me, defines me, and fills me with pride. Vis Unita Fortior...............just fill the bloody corners in!

The first problem would be to define "classy". It means different things to different people.
Don't care whether Stoke are classy or not; Stoke are my team regardless.
In my opinion no team is classy, some are successful some are not, some are fashionable some are not, some are popular some are not.
Some are successful, fashionable and popular but that in itself doesn't make them classy. Arsenal is a prime example.

I don't think we are more classy than any other club or less classy, as classy means stylish and sophisticated I think it is the wrong word to apply to any football club.
What I think makes a good club though is when the players/staff and supporters treat other clubs as they would like to be treated themselves, that sort of club would I guess be as close to classy as you could get.

I think we should play in Barcelona colours and rename ourselves the Stoke catalans - being as though we are going to own half the Barca squad at the rate it is going.
This would make us classy - simples

Staying behind and applauding our players in large numbers after their FA cup final defeat was a bitter sweet moment which certainly showed class in my book.
Man City fans (at least the ones I met) were also really good about the game afterwards. Plenty of credit for both IMHO.

There is no such thing as a classy club. Every single club up and down the land has a cuntish element about them (some more than others).

No such thing. There are classless clubs like Chelsea, but none can say theyre better than everyone else.

Me & the lad had to stay behind with my FIL & BIL (Citeh supporters) as we were sat in their end. Lifting the trophy, lap of honour - never been so pissed off in my life. Never a word spoken on the journey back home. Very different experience to 1972

Was at home in Oz streaming the Bolton game. My (other) BIL (Stokie) got me the four tickets after half-time. My Citeh BIL said he would never sit in the Stoke end. Guess who paid for his ticket

The red and white striped kit. Just got the sake of clarity; red and white striped shirt and white shorts! (Otherwise those mackem chaps might have delusions of class!)
