You can't see the irony in that piece? Mate you're a attention seeker who loves putting people's backs up. You've now written at least three negative pieces about Stoke because you like the response you get. To watch the whole 90 minutes on Saturday and to end up writing a whole piece on something that is without doubt open to interpretation is pretty fucking sad. Football fans in booing opposing player who appeared to be faking injury like his teammates shock but who applauded him off once it was evident he was injured. God help you if you ever have anything interesting to write about. You obviously crave attention which is why you're on here now. Grim isn't the word.

Anyway.... I didn't come here to argue more. I said my piece. Thanks. Perhaps instead of 'saying your piece' in the first place you had actually represented the truth you might not have to be on here now digging yourself an even bigger hole. Honestly mate either give up your pathetic attempts or go get a job with the Sun

Why the hatred for Stoke City? I'm allergic to ceramics. Seriously though there is no hatred. In many ways I admire the mentality you have built. You need to get your soft southern head out of your arse, your team has it's fair share of cheats feigning injury, diving basically trying to con the officials one of your players gets injured and your crying into your shandy, , we are Stoke made us the way we are and we love it so fuck thesen off our message board liar.

That first article aside from it having a few mistakes and being badly written. Was far far worse.
It was full of lies and bile, written by someone with little grasp of language or the truth. It seemed to have no logical input based on the clubs recent history and was instead written by someone who has merely paraphrased the incorrect and outdated opinions of others.
Until its removed this shouldn't, especially not when its coming from some no mark journo.
Disgraceful, isn't their a senior editor we can speak too? Someones approved that article to be uploaded (and not proof read it)

He's made his mind up and he's got superior vision to everyone else in the ground as he could see what was going on better than we did even though he was at the other end of the ground. Still he's done what he set out to do which was get a load of hits on his blog so well done, Chris. I've said what I saw, plenty of people concur with me, some Stoke fans have admitted it happened. Like I said I don't expect you to agree, just object to being called a liar, which simply isn't the case. Have a good evening. GWC - you seem to like writing. Your blogging might benefit if you were to read one of the classics of English Literature "The Water Babies" by Charles Kingsley. Get hold of a copy, read it critically and carefully and ponder on one of the characters, Mrs Doasyouwouldbedoneby - you can learn a lot from her. Good Luck - we'll make a writer of you yet.

Right... I come in peace. Genuinely. As I have been subjected to a lot of criticism and plenty of over the top abuse I feel I have the right to reply so here it is. Firstly, I don't deny that as Alderweireld was carried from the field he was applauded by the majority of the crowd, in hindsight I should have clarified this in that blog post. Secondly I shouldn't have worded it so it sounded like all Stoke City fans were jeering him. Of course, as with all clubs it was no doubt a minority. For those two points I certainly regret the ill feeling it has caused. In my defence though, a lot of Stoke fans have labelled me a 'liar' and that is unfair. While Alderweireld was on the ground and even while he was receiving treatment there were jeers and chants of 'cheat'. They were loud enough for me to hear in the away end, so I find it odd that so many are stating categorically that they didn't happen or that is wasn't a decent amount of people. Some Stoke fans have acknowledged that it happened, but very few. Anyway I don't expect you to agree or change your minds, but I don't dodge criticism and will always say my piece and this was easier than replying to all the tweets/blog comments individually. Good luck for the rest of the season. Chris Rann Did you see Alderweireld rolling around on the floor five minutes earlier, pretending that Charlie Adam had elbowed him in the face and trying to get him sent off? Now that's classless. In fact, it's the sort of thing that's worthy of being met with cries of 'cheat'. Perhaps your next post should be demanding that Koeman eliminates the cheats from your club. They're an embarrassment to your proud name.

What a load of bollocks You have form for anti Stoke articles. You're no different from Arsenal fans. You have it in your head we are big bad Stoke and every little negative is exaggerated and any positives ignored. The fact is your player played dead and yet wasn't seriously injured. He was called a cheat by a section of the crowd.Have you never heard opposing fans have a go at one of your players before in such situations ? You have and you know it but because it was Stoke you make an issue of it. When the situation appeared to be more serious Stoke fans applauded him warmly. I suggest you get off your high horse and fuck off

Anyway.... I didn't come here to argue more. I said my piece. Thanks. There's always three sides to a story: your side, my side and the truth. I don't know what happened because I didn't see it live, only watched on TV. However, I do know Winston Churchill was once asked to withdraw a statement in the House of Commons when he accused a colleague of being a "liar". He modified his statement accusing his colleague of uttering a "terminological inexactitude". Seems to apply here, if that will make you feel better.

So from what I gather - we should always assume that every player that goes down injured has suffered a serious injury and our immediate reaction should be of symptathy... is this what they do on the South coast? I doubt it.
Also, w*nking over yourself for having people read your blog is tragic. Perhaps you should put that effort into a dating website profile and you'll meet a lovely girl or boy, then you wont feel the need to aspire to be a gutter-press blog writer.
Or just hope for an eventual job making articles for Buzzfeed I guess...
This is why I stopped going on footballforums, I've seen you and your BS on there too.

Someone who dreams up baseless, poorly researched, poorly written hogwash designed to annoy and fuel their otherwise non existent profile? What kind of debased, classless, shady, distasteful sort of wanker would resort to tactics like that?

Anyway I don't expect you to agree or change your minds, but I don't dodge criticism and will always say my piece and this was easier than replying to all the tweets/blog comments individually. Good luck for the rest of the season. Chris Rann Stoke City do a very good job of making themselves difficult to like as a club. - Wrong and a lie. They have built up an ‘everyone is against us’ mentality - You must have been reading articles from 4 years ago, this is a lie also. They are an aggressive team - No more than most other teams. Haven't Chelsea almost won the league with a massive dose of aggression? No one can deny that and controlled aggression is fine - Thanks, that's very generous of you, I'm sure the Stoke players will now sleep easily in their beds! Every time a foul is given against them (and on Saturday Mark Clattenburg ensured it wasn’t often) the complaints that come from both their players and supporters are laughable. Really, is that just Stoke who complain of decisions against them? Get your head out of your arse. Yes your reputation may be over the top and at times unwarranted - Perpetuated by articles like this from tossers like you. This attitude is compounded further when an opposition player is down on the ground. Boos and jeers, and chants of ‘cheat’ ring round the stadium and it’s as loud as the home crowd get. Even the stretcher laden Toby Aldeweireld wasn’t spared this treatment as the medical staff administered oxygen to him and an ambulance was readied - I have never heard such attention seeking bilge. You have deliberately mislead the uninformed reader to think that the majority of Stoke fans were jeering and booing an "injured" player. This is the paragraph that confirms you as a liar and a cowardly little weasel. I don't think you realise how priveledged you are to have people paying attention to your articles especially when you come out with fucking deluded poison such as this. This might sound like sour grapes after a defeat but it really isn’t. - Lie Classless in victory as well as defeat. - In what way? Also a lie. You are not fit to write articles on Premier league matches, now jog on Liar!

You probably hate the Brit(like most supporters who come) because it actually has an atmosphere and is intimidating. What you call clasless, we call passion. Next time you visit we will ask the players to give you 3 cheers at the end of the game if it makes you feel better.
The fact your article was written straight after defeat, makes it reek of sour grapes my friend. But we will forgive you and wish the Saints a happy end to the season.
Anyway did we lose that fecking poll to Katie Hopkins - how embarrassing for us orcs, if so.
