Of course we were safe anyways, but now 100%
Now this may smack of caution, but to do it with 5 games to go with the injury list we have had is one hell of an achievement
Sure we played a weird game yesterday, against a very good side and could have won 4 - 1, even though it did not feel like that. But we persevered, kept belief and now stand SIX points better than last season
Chelsea get plaudits for 'grinding' out results. Swansea get plaudits for what they have achieved this season. Time for us to give plaudits to our own team
A fit a firing Bojan, some new high calibre recruits (which we seem to now be in the market for, credibility wise) and most of the 'deadwood' gone = building a really good platform
Losing our captain for a few weeks, Oddie who was inspirational last season, the best player in red an white (potentially) since the 70's, a very good winger several times, left backs in and out due to injury and several players still carrying knocks - bloody amazing job really.

Both Southampton and Swansea have done well, but they have also spent much more money than us! Yes, I know Southampton sold players for more than £100M before the season started, but Koeman has also spent around £60M to build his own team! And he also inherited a lot of decent players from the last manager! Of course he has done a great job, but with Fonte, Yashida, Rodrigez, Clyne, Wyanama etc. + the spend of £60M he really should be able to build a decent team as well!

So can you let us win then? (Worth a shot) Oddly, I don't see next weeks game as a foregone conclusion. We have been stung several times this season at home against teams where we have been the bookies favourites. Any Stokies expecting a 3 or 4 goal romp next week might be surprised.

I do, we really can't do anything right at the moment...like, absolutely nothing

If you want to be pedantic about it (and I do!) both Hull and Leicester could equal us on 46 points, but at the moment their goal difference is a lot worse than ours so they would have to win all their games by big scores and we would have to lose all ours by big scores.

As you are in a pedantic frame of mind; you would be correct had you not fallen in to the look a bit further up the table trick Burnley and QPR can not catch us. However Leicester play the missing team in this equation whom are Sunderland. Be it a draw or a loss for either team, means the aforementioned team can not catch us = 3 teams that can not get to 46 points
