He is doing well for Everton and written off by lots on here far to much. He was a constant in the side which got Spurs into the top4 and when he didnt play they struggled. Would certainly be an upgrade for us. I am not bothered whether I like him as a person as long as he performs for Stoke that is good enough for me. you missed out the bit where he played reguarly during their descent and hasnt been fancied during their resurgence? Bojan wasn't playing at Barcelona and struggled on loan last year at Ajax whereas he come to us and looked like the player he was when he first broke onto the seen! Odemwingie struggled at Cardiff! Fuller struggled at Southampton and Ipswich before he signed! Lennon is a decent player and would have been a good signing for us!

He'speaked and imo he wasn't that good even then. Each to their own but give me a player like this Traore with potential and all the ingredients to be a big hit in this country and potential to increase in value massively any day of the week over Lennon who will be on a big wage with little resale, because lets face it, where is the interest in him from everyone else but Everton? and then maybe ask why?

Said at the time huge miss out for us , big signal to that level of player won't do any favours wirh Moses said at the time somet be surprised to see Everton front. 3 of Lennon lukaku and Moses next year at which point is like to see Hughsie volley our commercial team into oblivion Translation anyone? Okay then, chaps, here goes: (** spits on hands, thinking "I like a challenge……" **)
I said at the time it was a huge miss out for us. A big signal to that level of player won't do any favours with Moses. I said at the time I wouldn't be surprised to see an Everton front 3 of Lennon, Lukaku and Moses next year, at which point I'd like to see Hughsie volley our commercial team into oblivion. (** Steps back and reviews handiwork **)
Eh? - That doesn't make much sense, either. Oh well, bugger it, then. I'm with Lakeland.

Lennon or not, we need extra quality wide right. Is Odemwingie the answer? I'm not sure.

If Lennon does sign for Everton would they sell Mirallas - and if they did would we have a chance if Spurs didn't want him?

Bayern
The strongest proof yet that we were wrong on evert count not to sign him ???? He would have been perfeft for the right side next year as its probably too big a risk to put odemwinge and Bojan in a squad of 25

We are 9th will finsih 11th and that makes for a fantastic season given the injuries how's that ?
I actually think with huth and Moses back 3 new signings and Bojan back in October time we could better that how's that ?
but
It all depends on Mr Scholes delivering Mr Hughes wish list and he failed miserably in January Oohps !????

I do think though that the summer will be different as that seems to be where MH likes to do his business. We are an attractive proposition even if we finish 11th. I think we'll finish 10th.

I find it fucking baffling that some people seem to think Odemwingie (34) is an option next season on the wing.

Odemwingie's versatility means he will continue to be an important player in the squad. Spot on. If Wingie makes a decent recovery from his injury, I'd find it bizarre if we didn't find a place for him in our 25. He probably won't be a starter in so many games (and at his age he might not have been even if he hadn't been injured) but as a squad player able to change things as a sub, or offer something different as a starter in some games, I struggle to find any reason why he wouldn't be in the squad. We certainly still need to add another right winger/wide right striker to the squad this summer. But that's no reason to write off Wingie. If he gets 90% of his pace back he'll still be faster than all but 3 or 4 of the players on our books - add to that his positive influence in the dressing room and it really is a no brainer that he should stay with us - fitness permitting.

FFS Give the guy a break, he is quite obviously dyslexic. Fair play to him for posting - you can normally get the gist of what he's saying.
However doesn't change the fact that he's the most negative poster on here. If he won the lottery he'd find something to moan about. Cheer up mate.

Judging people on one incident is probably a little harsh... But, I can't shake the image of Harry Redknapp begging him to stay on the pitch against us when he was hurt. For that alone I'd bet that he won't be a massive influence at any Premier League club long term.
Ive seen Adam Johnson, Harry Kewell and Theo Walcott do similar things and all three never lived up to their potential. It's almost like they found football so easy as a kid they can't handle the fact they need to show a bit of character at the top level.

I was really hoping Lennon would come to Stoke too. As a Spurs man I cannot understand why he was let go instead of Townsend. Well I do understand but it was not for football reasons. He turned up hungover at training one too many times. His gangsta lifestyle did not sit well with Pochettino. As Stoke are my second team I would have loved him here though.

harry I know that Townsend has never really done it for Spurs for one reason or another.
But honestly I would prefer him to Lennon at Stoke.

I wasn't that fussed at the time that he didn't choose us, but boy with all the injuries we've had that option could have been invaluable.I would be very surprised if he didn't sign for Everton in the upcoming window. Wow he has a Gangsta lifestyle? No wonder he chose Liverpool over Hanley ):
