Worst season ever. What might have been if we had our full squad available

Also agree. But as said on another thread. Have to wonder about training methods and fitness with some many injuries being muscle and tendon related. I understand training methods are supposed to be the same as last season when we had much fewer injuries. However, perhaps we were lucky last year rather than unlucky this year.

It would be interesting to see what percentage of our substitutions have been injury-related this year, and how it relates to the average.

...and still in the hunt for highest league finish and points.
Hughes has not moaned once about it.

Odemwingie Bojan Ireland Muniesa Tiexeira Walters Sidwell Whelan Shawcross Wilson Pieters Moses
They've all spent quite a bit of time out between them this season haven't they?! On reflection perhaps we should have kept Assaidi for the season.

1974/75 was also a nightmare. As was 2001/02

Can't remember a season like it, particularly for training ground or non contact injuries (muscle strains etc)

Hughes rarely mentions it and never complains, he just gets on with the job.
The manager, team and indeed the entire club are star turns in a league that is often devoid of positive traits.
Not suggesting we're the ONLY such club by any stretch but it is refreshing to see.
