Here we go... a 13 page Cameron bash when he wasn't the worst player on the pitch... the truly Diabolical offender was subbed and his thread was deleted... and there's no unbiased opinions on the oatcake...

So he's entitled to an opinion but unless he agrees with your (peculiar) view that Cameron was diabolical then that proves he "knows jack shit about football". Very magnaminous of you Funny because, the two Southhampton mates at the pub here in the US I spoke two just said... "Cameron did well in closing mane up and annoying him" and "That Arnie has an engine" Peculiar opinions eh? Exactly. He did miss hit a couple of crosses, misplaced a ball or two going forward, but defensively he was fine. I say it frequently on this board, but some folk really only see what they expect to see

I know you won't ever have a word said about him, but today he was garbage. Most of the team were to be fair though. H

The whole back line had a fucking mare today. Cameron and Shawcross in particular were fucking terrible. I'd stop short at calling for Shotton though. I'd rather play with 3.

He was rubbish today, in the second half he seemed to be playing in front of SJW. The defence didn't concede from open play but they were really sloppy in the second half, including Begovic, luckily Southampton weren't much of a goal threat, despite their overall play being good.

Geoff Cameron and Erik Peiters had a better passing percentage than most of our midfield players, who had less touches... Ohh and btw, Geoff had the most tackles today for a player in a stoke shirt... Funny thread this... Utter BS.

NBC's commentators just pointed out mane and clyne's frustrating day at Stoke due to our fullback's pestering them and tackling them on the highlights... hahaha praise said to Pieters and Cameron who kept their outside men (Tadic, Mane, and Davis) quiet... They' know fuck all about football, being ex PL players...

Why was Whelan taken off when he was clearly MoM yet again by a country mile?
He saved us from conceding time and time again.

If you looked at our defence today and picked out Cameron as the biggest issue I worry Pugs!! The 'golden boys' Ryan and Bego were shocking by their old standards.

We need to try and find full backs with pace to improve , Cameron at times lacks urgency , to be fair today the whole team did yet could have won 4-1 funny game .

That midfield in the first half was diabolical. Whelan and Ireland need their wages stopping and Nzonzi can kiss goodbye to any top side coming in for him. A dreadful, gutless performance. Ireland was clearly injured, AGAIN, from a pretty shocking challenge. I thought he started the game really brightly until that challenge. Whelan was shocking with the ball but excellent without it, plugging practically every gap in the process including a stint in goal when Bego inexplicably went wandering. I thought N'zonzi was excellent and presumably he is being slaughtered for a few minute spell when he was absolutely shattered and seemed like he could barely put one foot in front of the other. He got his breath back and played exellently thereafter. Cameron was woeful. Really woeful. I would say that is as bad as we've played at home but we won so all is well and is credit to the team for digging in really. My other overriding observation from today is that Diouf must tear his fucking hair out playing up front in front of our midfield, who for all their qualities, don't have an ounce of vision between them. He must have made 100 runs today and he didn't get the ball once despite it being obvious he'd got the beating of their centre halves after less than 5 minutes.
