Didn't go yesterday and had given it up when Jeff Stelling shouted " there's late drama at the Boleyn" and good old Chris Kamara exploded into describing Arnie's effort and I had my own mental.I enjoyed the Villa one when Victor scored late but was that better for fans who went?.The fact that we had 2 disallowed and Diouf's effort somehow not going in I thought it wasn't our day & it saved us from 4 defeats on the bounce .

I loved Arnie's energy! It went from a celebration to Shawcross trying to keep him from taking off!

Went to both
Yesterday's was better as Villa was a penalty and the sense that justice had prevailed yesterda added further fuel to what was simply a less expected, more spontaneous eruption of joy
Mental

It really was the best mental this season. Everyone was still seething after the injustice of the second disallowed goal and having to endure the mocking of the home fans to our left. When the ball went in the away end just went ballistic - it was so intense! And talk about justice!!!

Diouf running toward us at Man City just edges it for me, yesterday was pretty close though!

I fell over the chair behind me, so I'd have to say yes.
Was also funny watching everyone get serious again to help a man find his glasses which had somehow landed two rows in front.
Great, great mental!

Yep. Made sweeter by the fact that when the flag went up for both offsides the piss taking from West Ham fans in the corner was a bit annoying. So it was with immense satisfaction I waved goodbye to them At the end :-). It's what footy is all about. It was worth the £43 just for the last 5 minutes.

I think that yesterdays was better as stated above because of the 2nd disallowed goal followed by the mocking from the cockney boys. Also how mental Arnie went also added.
People were falling over seats everywhere and the lad in front had a massive rip in his shorts

What makes a mental a"real mental" is when we score so late that the oppos have no time left to score themselves.I went to Man City & when Diouf scored we had a mental but I thought City would still get back in the game, it's when you know that we've got a result from scoring that goal be it a draw or a win.

Bojan's goal at Leicester for me. As the sexy beast wheeled away towards us, it was one of those special moments of mutual love!
Having said that, if I had gone yesterday Arnie's strike might well have trumped that one - it looked magnificent.
Those highs, however many or few we enjoy during a season, remain uniquely powerful.
It's why we go!

The mental celebration after Arnies goal was worth my airfare over from Guernsey alone. The amount of possession we had, Diouf hitting the post and the two disallowed goals it looked like it wasn't going to be our day.
Fantastic fighting spirit to the end from Stoke and what a feeling on leaving Upton Park. It actually felt like a win. Good stadium, great atmosphere in the away end and a brill day out.

Bojans at leicester was pretty special, but yesterdays as mentioned was better because wed had two goals disallowed before it and had to suffer the taunting from the cockneys. Proper gave it back to em when wed scored, brilliant.

Also the fact that Charlie got so much stick from the corner boys every time he went to take a corner. When we scored the players. Especially Adam, Arnie and Walters after our goal seemed to give them some back. Plenty in fact. It felt like a coming together of fans and players giving it all back. It was a truly beautiful thing to witness.

Yep can confirm that my head came off and the place erupted around me. We'd had taunts from our immediate right that grew as the goals were disallowed and unbelievable relief and euphoria when Arnie nailed it. I don't what it is about last minute never thought we would score mentals, but they just make me want to turnaround and hug the nearest big hairy bloke.....strange that!!!

It's no wonder Arnie's choice of celebration was to go berserk in front of the East Stand.

When that goal went in yesterday what followed was unbelievable in more ways than one for me yesterday.I ended up down the front on the floor in the jubilation that followed the goal then recovered my composure only to turn round and find my mrs sprawled over the seats in front of her with a couple of blokes on top of her[no jokes please lol] in tears of shock/pain.Trying to explain to her about mentals just isn't going in today but she can see the funny side today along with her bruised eye and legs.

I don't think I've been in a mental like I was yesterday, there were people all over the place, on the floor, over the back of chairs, falling down steps, broken seats! Everyone just jumped and surged forward! Just before the goal the atmosphere was turning, it had been building up all game then just like that it was released into one hell of a celebration, it was all quite blury to the extent that I couldn't remember the goal and I hadn't even touched a drop was good though! I can't imagine how it would have been if something was dependent on the result

Yesterday was well up there with the best of them.
We were in the corner by the Chicken Run and had taken loads off West Ham following the previous 2 off side decisions and the Diouf header against the post.
When Arnie did the business the place just exploded. I'm a nearly 60 year old coffin dodger, been there, seen it and done it with Stoke over all these years yet me and my lad still went absolutely mental when Arnie scored yesterday.
I've watched the clip of the goal loads today, I just love watching us Stoke fans erupt as Arnie wheels away in celebration.
Arnie! Arnie! Arnie!
Onwards and upwards with those Mighty Potters!

The surge took my son through two rows of seats that he smashed on the way down. We both bounced up and each rescued a different fallen Stokie. We danced the mental and were grabbed onto and pulled into another mental.
Easily the best since the goal for Bolton 0 - 4 Stoke at Wembley.

Yesterday really was a top class mental. In all fairness we've been spoiled this season in terms of mentals, 3 out of our last 5 away games in the league we have either rescued a point or won a match in stoppage time.
The mental at Villa was ace but the adrenaline was taken out of it slightly due to it being a penalty rather than from open play, the mental at Newcastle was good but it didn't quite create the same buzz because we were so far away from the pitch and couldn't celebrate with the players. The three mentals I have personally enjoyed the most on the road this season have been yesterday's at Upton Park, Diouf's at Man City and N'Zonzi's equaliser at Old Trafford.
Yesterday's had everything you could ask for in a mental though, a great goal in stoppage time off the back of an injustice right in front of our supporters. Moments like that are what we shell out our hard earned money for. Awesome.

Yes and there were a couple from France in front of me that got hugs from the left and right. The wife thought it was maginificent birthday present for him! I spoke in some french to them. they thought it was great! They understood what was being said to the West Sham supporters on our left!
It certainly felt as if we had gor all three points when equalising in 95th Minute!

Oh! So it's just me then who thought the 'mental' after Arnie's goal was one of the frightening experiences I've ever had at a football match?
Woman next to me went over two rows and ended up in tears between the seats. I went over seat in front, god alone knows how I didn't snap my shin in half? Bloke on the other side of me actually went through the seat in front of him!
It was dangerous.
Presumably, some of those involved in the surge were also those who spent all day moaning at the catering prices and then spent half-time spraying their £4.40 bottle of Carlsberg over everybody else.
Imbecilic behaviour.
