It's very harsh but then again he never has anything of value to say anyway.
This idea that long range goals and wonder volleys aren't worthy of losing your shit over because they don't involve 87 passes or a bloke beating seven men is the preserve of the nouveau football Tarquin brigade.

It's the best individual goal of the season so far in my opinion.
A team goal is a different category
Sour grapes maybe, but if this goal had been scored by one of the "superstars" it would be getting more consistent praise

Owen wouldn't be able to kick it that far.

Look at the jizz fest when Rooney scored that goal ( in West Ham's half ) last season! Adam's goal was technically 5 times better than that

Your opinion counts for nothing when it is as shit as that I was commenting on an ex England International having the same opinion as myself. This is not my thread, I merely posted my opinion. If you can't handle that, then tough.

That presenter with Hoddle and Redknapp yesterday was doing his best to down it also He said that Beckham's against Wimbledon was better! Now you can have your views on different types of goal but these are the same types of goal and Adam beats that effort in every conceivable way. Technique, vision, power, quality of keeper beaten. I suppose Charlie doesn't wear a dress and have his own fragrance though. If Charlie did have his own fragrance, I'd like to think it would smell of piss, blood and resentment.

He totally meant it against the supposed best team in the country and the tallest keeper in Christendom - why would it not be a contender ie top ten??

Let's face it folks, Charlie is a Stoke player, ergo, anyone else who scores a similar goal is going to be better.

Best long range goal ive seen. Although no long range goal can be goal of the season imo, belt it as hard as you can and hope the keeper screws up does not beat a piece of skill and a brilliant finish, for example.

Well according to one foreskin on here, mentioning no names mywaydesolzan - It was nothing more than a lucky punt. No skill involved and Charlie certainly didn't mean to do it.
And that's from a so called Stoke fan.

Although no long range goal can be goal of the season imo, belt it as hard as you can and hope the keeper screws up does not beat a piece of skill and a brilliant finish, for example. He had his head up, saw the keeper was anticipating the through ball and went for the sensational instead. He knew exactly what he was doing and had the vision, power and precision to pull off exactly what he was going for. If that isn't 'a piece of skill' I don't know what is.

Considering it's been voted the best long range goal in the history of the Premier League it should probably be considered! Took incredible vision and ability to pull that off and there's a reason you don't see those scored every day, I'd be willing to bet Courtois is the tallest or is among the tallest GKs in the Premier League too, it really was a special goal...

I've never liked the money grabbing , back stabbing little 'plastic scouser ' ....we should never have signed him.
He was only here for the beer ....we were in a one horse race for him .
Crap .

Caught the end of the Sunday Supplement earlier to hear a couple of journo's playing down Charlie Adams goal and saying that the Bobby Zamora one yesterday and David Beckhams long range effort were far better.
I know it's all about opinions but another £3 a month price hike from sky go's towards paying these pricks ! Had Adam scored a goal like that when he was at Liverpool the scouser on the programme would have been raving about it.
