Could have been a Stoke great had it not been for a manager who had absolutely no idea how to utilize an innovative, creative flair player. Runners over footballers.

He flattered to deceive, he ran around a lot and had little or no end product.
He's achieved the square root of fuck all since leaving us.
I've been highly critical of Pulis' handling of a number of our players, but Tuncay he got it right

One of the best 30 minutes of football, I have ever seen by a Stoke City player, came from Tuncay against Fulham. Can't recall when it was exactly, other than it was a night match. Unfortunately he went off early injured but if he'd have played the full 90, we would have won by a cricket score and he'd have scored a hatful.

Just imagine Tuncay and Bojan playing in our supportive midfield, Tuncay wide and Bojan as the forward playing midfielder! With a goal poacher to feed off them,we would be indomitable.

I never really understood why we signed him in the first place , unless it was part of the Huth deal.

Pulis had no idea what to do with him, like Eidur or Patty Berger. Could have been a quality player given a proper chance

Don't know about that clip but is that the only thing that Tuncay has done in the last 5 years (Not a patch on Charlies effort by the way)

I doubt Bojan and Sanli would both fit in the same side, and there's not a Stoke fan alive who pick the Turk first.

I loved that greasy lite Turk. That goal against ManUre at he Brit was a beauty. And the solo goal against man city in extra time in the cup (night match)!!! They're what he was capable of......but then he'd find himself back on the bench......can't be confidence encouraging can it!!!

What a great goal, from a great player. Look back to Tuncay with fondness. He used to get kebabs from City Kebab on London Road, which makes me like him more somehow.

His performance at home to Fulham still remains the best individual performance by a Stoke player in decades. In 40 minutes he single-handedly hammered Fulham.
