I'd like Kane on for Welbeck. Drop Rooney behind. Barkley for Carrick and Henderson deep. This is a comical game so far. Lucky at best.

Seriously bored with this dross now. Mediocre players paid outrageous salaries to try and entertain. Going to watch first episode of Neighbours recorded last week .....and I have never watched an episode before.

What a load of moaners on here!
What's the point, when you've made up your mind already whatever happens?
Its always been like this
It was the same with Robson, Venables, Hoddle even Ramsay though folk somehow kid themselves that it wasn't.
Its some kind of national condition.

They can only beat what's put in front of them. That said, they should be beating this piss poor mob by double figures.

Game over as a contest, reckon they'd struggle in league one. You can only beat what's in front of you but god it makes for a boring game when the players aren't really tested.

You can't make an argument without a solution or idea to make it better. You think that half wasn't lucky? A lucky bounce for a Rooney header. A lucky deflection for the second. Other than that it should be 0-0. A proper setup it could be 3-0 England on deserved goals. We're riding luck atm.

Not as often as it should, international managers are naturally cautious. England are on a different level to this lot and yet start with 3 defensive midfield players and Sterling left midfield. Lithuania are unbelievably poor and I think Rochdale who we beat in the cup recently are a better side than this lot. I'm not knocking England at all, I'm knocking the fact that Hodgson will be happy with a 3 or 4 - 0 win when we should be thrashing one of the worlds worst international teams I've seen.

You make your own luck in football. I'd say Lithuania might think they are lucky to be only 2-0 down.

Lucky to be ahead, bottle doing better. They should run over this side not squeeze by... Are you joking?

But historically teams seldom score double figures. I dont see how you think it should suddenly start happening here. How many times have Lithuania conceded double figures in their history? 4-0 would be a reasonable result. Job done. End of. Its not a circus!

It's a joke because it should be deserved goals not scrappy shite luck. So if Stoke won a game against an easier team you'd complain if we won said game from a lucky goal? I want them to win and they are doing, its enough for me, I don't have over the top expectations given the players and the manager we have.
