What tends to happen is you add all of the above up and then decide whether to proceed with organising your trip or not. It's not really a nasty surprise as in my experience airline/hotel companies generally put their prices on their websites. Hope this helps....

Not sure if it's directed at me or not, for both days;
£100 for 2x return flights to Singapore £50 Match ticket x2 (Scientific Wild Arse Guess) £200 Food and Beers both days at the very most £50 optional for hotel for Saturday night Total - £350 - £400 depending on hotel.. or at least that is the budget. I'm sure that if needs be I can significantly reduce the alcohol bill by having a handful instead of a skinful!

For me and my lad the cost is £700pp including flights and 4* Hotel but I booked what suits me, you can get there for less than £500 with Turkish Airlines staying in a budget hotel/ hostel for the 5 days 14th-19th July ( found one room for £30 ! for 5 nights ) . As for spending money depends how much you have really so no nasty surprise. i know folk who paid more than that for Valencia.

A few of us are looking at trying to go to this. can anyone suggest who's best to fly with, good places to stay etc? Thanks in advance. Try Skyscanner for flights Turkish Airlines look to have the cheapest flight out of Manchester around £450 the only draw back with this flight is a long stop coming back in Istanbul ( 13hrs ) rooms start at £30 for 5 nights ! on Booking.com but a few of us have booked the Park Hotel Alexandra Road new 4* hotel opening this month around £350 atm for the 14-19th July ( www.parkhotelgroup.com/alexandra/gallery-en.html ). So depends on whats best and suits you to be fair.

Edit Turkish Airlines now £460 only 3hrs in Istanbul now instead of the 13hrs I found.

Good Morning All, Not posted on here for a while so..yeh my bad!! With the Asia Trophy coming up I thought that I would take the chance to ask if anyone knows of any other stokies (apart from ely's lad) who live in Kuala Lumpur? Ive worked here now for about 9months and, other than converting a few locals, i am yet to see another Stoke shirt or hear another Stokie accent (mind you i've all but lost mine now anyway :'( ) Anyways, if anyone is in or around Kuala Lumpur you will usually find me about on matchdays with my shirt on in my local The FrontPage SportsBar on Changkat so let me know when you're coming for a drink! As far as the Asia Trophy goes, I will be there for both matchdays 100%. Unfortunately i most likely wont be staying overnight on the wednesday as I work in Kuala Lumpur there isn't really much point in taking a holiday day when its only a 1hour flight at a cost of about a tenner!! That and in all fairness i am returning to the UK on July 4th until July 12th as I have tickets to the AC/DC concert at wembley on the 4th and a stag do on the 11th so it's all worked out quite nicely! Looking forward to it anyway, i'm not sure that it will be reserved seating but if it isnt, would be good to get us all near one place so we can get a headstart on being marked down in the fair play league for belting out the ever-intimidating Delilah. Goarn Stoke -Jay There's a poster further up this thread (page 4 I think) with the name penkulumpur reckons there's 4 or 5 making the journey from KL, could be worth contacting him?

I'd be surprised if any seat tickets cost anywhere near that much. For normal seats at least. That price you are talking the equivalent of club wembley etc lol..
Most tickets will be around 15-30quid i reckon since they will want to fill the stadium.

No chance they will be around the £20-£50 for the average seat dunna worry watched that site for a few days now and it would look to be nonsence.

Just had a call from Gemma from the SCFC ticket office, there will be an official story on the SCFC website tomorrow and tickets go on sale on Wednesday. Stoke are NOT selling any of the tickets they are a private seller but Stoke are putting the website link in the story for fans to "click" and buy.
