'beat these and we will be in a very strong position'. & 'we should beat these by a few goals'.
Do they realise they have just lost twice in the space of 5 days to one of the worst teams in the league and they have conceded 4 goals against a team that has struggled to score all season?.

Got a bad feeling about this one for some reason.

Got a bad feeling about this one for some reason. Agreed. I'm always nervous, but I really don't feel good about this game.

Really don't know how this one will go. As a manager, our ex has a good record against us but this is West Brom.
I guess this will certainly test out the hoodoo theory one way or t'other.

Looks like TP is doing the same old thing...

I'm a believer in statistics, we are badly overdue for a defeat at the Baggies, but since I use statistics to do my Super 6 selections every week and usually get less right than the wife who just guesses, what do I know !

Will their manager big us up? Bonus game for them!

I'm expecting we get a severe wanking off from Tone in the build up this week. Well he always used to do it when he was here and we are a "smashing" and "proper, proper" football club after all.

WBA will have to play an awful lot better than they did against Villa or else I can't see them troubling us at all.. still, this is TP and our record at their place will get tarnished at some point.

I seem to recall Lescott playing left back at Everton all the time and it earned him a multi-million transfer to Man City. Not so crazy to play him there again, really.

We are in great form, can't see anything other than three points. Come on you Mighty Potters.

After watching most of both the Villa v Albion games I saw nothing about that Baggies side that should give us too much trouble.
I'll go with the form book; 2-0 to the mighty Potters.

Can't see anything but a non-turning-up, hoodoo-breaking, TP-vindicating depressing-as-shit defeat in this one. But then I'm a pessimist.

Lescott did indeed have some very impressive games at full-back for Everton .... but hey if some guys off a West Brom web site are saying they know more than TP nobody on here is going to argue!!! After all the Albion fans have shown themselves to be such experts over the years!

Having watched the two games against the Villans, TP has inherited a very limited side. W.B.A. paid £10m for Brown Ideye? Makes WP look like the signing of the century?!
We've got to lose sometime but TP will focus on another strategic point i.e. one more in the bag towards the magical 40 points. So, a draw for me.

Really nervous about this one even though I know we're in great form and that West Brom are a poor side.

If they're playing Dawson at RB then Moses is going to ruin him all game. The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced we WILL win (which is worrying considering I'm an ultra pessimist)

Lester will have them fired up for this, especially after last year at Palace. After the Everton game I have total faith in my lads.
If that doesn't put the mockers on them nothing will!

Heard it was more nearer the 3 million mark and West Brom just talked up the price so that fans would not kick up a stink with Alan Irvine being appointed.

It's like entering some parallel universe - they want to win ugly and we want our wingers to get at the full backs! This can only end in one of three ways!

Reading some of those threads was the most fun I have ever had on a wet Monday afternoon. It's quite satisfying really, knowing another set of fans have worked out the same Pulisism's as us within a couple of months. Luckily, I don't think he has the same passion for the West Brom job and won't have half the success he did with Stoke. Without the results you can't justify said Pulisism's.

With us he built the squad and won promotion with it; it was his team from front to back. With both Palace and West Brom, he was and is working with someone else's squad, with a couple of his own additions to address the weaknesses he identified. I suspect he won't have the same relationship with the board either.
