Whats pleased me most ?
How the squad has turned up and put their collective shoulder to the wheel , especially when needed the most
they could've switched off - headed for the beach - dropped their heads after so many injuries - not a bit of it !
(Im still very aggrieved after some fucking numpty said our season was over after the Blackburn game, and by our squads actions - has proved such tripe to
be complete and utter fucking rubbish !)
ten games left - 30 points to be had
well done lads - keep going !!!!

The manner in which we play and approach the game A continuation from last season Correct, more impressive as we've been down to the bare bones and lost our best player. Remarkable job.

Bojan feeling the Stokie love and showing he's still got the talent to be one of the best players in the world.

Loving seeing Bojan blossom, but when that was cruelly taken away from us, seeing the squad spirit come to the fore, so proud lately

The feeling that we're making progress.
I'm actually enjoying every game. Even vs. the park-the-bus sides at home.
The feeling that we've got a group of players who genuinely want to be here.
Bojan. The best player I've seen at Stoke.

Seeing us outplay Arsenal at the The Brit especially in the FH. We've beaten them before but not by outclassing them. Truly awe-inspiring!

After the disorganization at the start of the season and inability to overcome resolute defences, seeing the way individuals have come good and the squad become engaged with one another in the face of repeated injury setbacks to become an effective winning unit.

Bojan without a doubt, might be years after Bojan leaves before we see another truly world class talent at the club. It's truly amazing we signed him at all let alone the fee we did. It really cannot be overstated how fucking mental it is that Bojan is a Stoke City player

Bojan, without a doubt.
I don't think we've reached the heights of the football we were playing at the end of last season, yet.

No matter which team we are playing, the feeling that we will have a a go. Even in the defeat to Man City, we really should have been leading at half time in spite of the shocking run of injuries.

It's the clear signs of improvement and development from last season. Last season we saw a different playing style introduced, some flair players, but the season didn't really get going until February, plus we were in the bottom six for a few weeks. This season, we have seen improvement in all the problem positions in the team, the football has been even better, and we have been comfortably midtable all season and stand with a sniff of a chance of a European place. You can only be amazed that, due to injuries, we are down to our 4th and 5th choice central defenders, a continually makeshift attacking midfield, and yet we are still winning games.
It really whets your appetite for next season, especially with Odemwingie and Bojan back, plus whatever rabbits that Hughes pulls out of his magical bargains-of-the-season hat.

Despite most of the players needed to be fucked off at sometime during the season most posters have come around to thinking that we don't really have that bad a squad.

A few things for me.
Winning games without playing particularly well.
To coin a Hughes phrase, the way we "probe" sides now using our much improved use of ball possession and not just kicking it back and forth aimlessly like early-mid last season. There was a passage of possesion play between the 70 and 80th minute against Everton which had me pinching myself as we hit them down the left flank, Moses was stymied and so we calmly played back through Bego and went at them again down the right flank in a superb sequence of controlled passing.
The current positive vibe within the squad and around the club is infectious. "I am Stoke" is very apt, it seems as though everyone has "buy in" with Sparky and it shows.
Slowly getting the respect that nobody, no fucker wants to give us - so we are making them have it, under the radar, changing perceptions and gaining a different reputation.
Having a manager whose team selections and substitutions I can understand and identify with.
I also like the way that Sparky gives credit to his assistants, there isn't a manager in the division with less ego, yet he brings the most commanding presence standing in that technical area. It's uncanny. I wouldn't swop him for anyone right now.
Finally, the fact that I truly believe that we can improve further still, boy are we on a roll, and it's no house of cards either.

Never really been a fan of Nzonzi but I have to say he is showing what a real talent he is and I'm happy to eat humble pie. All those dicks on this MB that had us relegated after 5 games, or after every defeat, now have to find something else to moan about
