Soccer Saturday, every time I watch it they've always got a good thing to say about us, Thommo was praising Bojan the weekend after he got injured saying he sparked up the league, Merson always has a love in for us and I've not heard much negativity at all.
They said they'd focus on Stoke next week but added that we are doing a fantastic job to be 8th.

They can, in fact, all just fuck off.

I prefer the stealth approach, as we sneak up the ladder.

They can say what they like! Good or bad! People said we wouldn't stay up in our first season, they said we would never reach a cup final again, that we would never play in Europe, and that we would never be a consistent top 10 team. Guess what, all proven wrong! As long as we all stick together through good and bad we will be alright.

I prefer the stealth approach, as we sneak up the ladder. It was clear on the MOTD that Lineker and Co were surprised to see Stoke had progressed to 8th. Now that Stoke are an established mid-table side I have begun to notice how often media commentators refer disparagingly to "middle of the table" sides. They obviously consider anyone other than the top 6 as second rate no matter what resources they have at their disposal.

I don't think we do get bad media generally
People on here are just touchy about any comments made about us and tend to interpret any neutral comment as a dig or criticism.
It's already started again on this thread.
It's like some kind of compulsive disorder.

Other than London or Manchester clubs, no one else matters to the media. We are sometimes too hypersensitive. Not really interested in what outsiders think or say.
