Great memories revolving around the World Hurdle (well it was the Stayer's then) with Iris's Gift.
We had two great battles with Barracuda, losing once and then winning the following year.
Brilliant times.

McCoy wins on a 16/1 shot. Anyone else think the rest were not trying too hard to catch him?

Made a loss today as I predicted. One first and three seconds. (Backed up with three seconds and a third at other meetings).
I'm going for broke tomorrow with
1:30 Top Notch 2:05 Princely Conn 2:40 Tea For Two 3:20 Holywell 4:00 Paint The Clouds 4:40 Roi Des Francs 5:15 Croco Bay
I've watched every race so far, but tomorrow will see none of them (bugger) as I have to attend a funeral.

It's here Gold Cup day and what a tough day of betting it looks.
I'd love to see Coneygree go and win today but I just think they'd have been better going for the RSA this year and going for the Gold Cup next year, at 10/1 he's just a bit too slim for me against the class and experience in this field, although no doubt I'll have something on him by the time the tape goes up.
My selections today are:- 1.30 - Beltor win & Dicosimo e/w 2.05 - cheltenian e/w & minella present e/w 2.40 - black Hercules win & out Sam e/w 3.20 - many clouds win & road to riches e/w 4.00 - carsontown boy e/w & universal soldier e/w 4.40 - McKinley e/w & Forthefunofit e/w 5.15 - Ned Buntline win & Turban e/w

Ended up about £35 in pocket over the 4 days. It ain't a fortune, but it beats losing like most years.
