Good evening. I posses a universal remote control and was considering to take it to the Palace game. I was hoping to take control of the TVs in the blocks by turning them back on after the game. I've noticed they are on standby. It's something that will be useful for the fans after the game to catch up on the results and league rather than the useless 3G connection.
Thought I'd give the heads up to people so they can potentially enjoy the full times at the final whistle.
The only concern is that some pranksters may also take a universal remote control and flick stations during the game before kick off.

I can change channels and switch off TV's with my phone, I wonder if everyone would still stare at the tv for 15 minutes at half time if I switched them off.

Can I suggest that you take the old ladder type scoreboard from the Victoria Ground instead? (Match A, Match Business etc). What would you do if the remote control batteries failed?

Why not combine both your interests: a kettle and a remote control.

Why not combine both your interests: a kettle and a remote control. This looks ideal.
