On paper we have the easier fixture; West Ham home to Chelsea and Swansea away at Spurs.

Everton are no mugs despite their recent poor form. It's a very tough fixture.

Woah.....let's reign it in eh
A defeat will see mass suicides and calls for half the team to be culled in the summer

Absolutely a winable game, but Everton probably have better players than us (I know the table says otherwise!)! With another manager I guess they would do much better, but hopefully we can take full advantage of the state they are in right now!

We could also be 9th or stay 10th.

Tough match. I'm hoping they are cocky enough (big club) to attack us more than Hull, and shit enough at defending (Martinez effect) to concede a couple.
I guess they will be knackered too. Seemed they played a few first teamers v Young Boys...
So all in all a nailed on home defeat!
I wouldn't be too gutted with a draw as I think 11 points ahead with 10 to go would preclude our being caught by the Toffees. Similarly we could remove Baggies and Palace from the mid-table race in our next two games.

Agree Let's make sure we get something from the game. Keep points ticking over. If we get one I will be happy and 3, I will be delighted.
If we are on 40 points come close Wednesday night, that is first target. Next target is 50 points which is very achievable even with the depleted squad we have.

Yes that's true, but if Swansea draw with Spurs, if Spurs have 2 away defeats, and if Stoke win their next 3 matches they could be 7th by the end of the month.
But if we lose, and if we go to WBA and get thrashed by Tony's side, everyone on here will want Hughes sacking, never mind a new contract.
(You could write a poem using the word "if".)

I remain optimistic. Loving every minute of it. Minus the injuries. For the last few games we may see everyone back, except for bojan. Crouchie goal was beautiful and thanks to palace for winning v west ham. We may struggle for goals over the next few weeks. The spirit there from the lads and grafting is us Sjw to win us the game v everton. Eighth place is ours.

It would be pretty amazing if a club like ours which had been out of the top flight for 25 years did not have a surge in support when it got back into the Premier League. And it is lucky we did get that surge in support - would match days this season be as much fun with only 15,000 in the stadium for most games? rather than criticising the "new" fans we should value them - after all, those clubs who don't come close to filling their stadiums, such as Bolton, Wigan and Blackburn (when they were in the Prem) tend not to remain in the Prem for Very long.

Adam deserves a start based off his efforts on Saturday, as does Crouch. I'd drop Diouf and maybe bring him on after the hour. Bit harsh because I want to see him play with confidence but hey ho.

On paper we have the easier fixture; West Ham home to Chelsea and Swansea away at Spurs. Could go one further and look at the games after... Swansea to play Spurs and Liverpool West Ham to play Chelsea and Arsenal We play Everton and West Brom (Newcastle play Man United and Everton) So, looking at the fact that we have the easier next 2 games (on paper) I expect us to lose ground on the teams above us

Don't lose, 40 points on the board, and time to get the champagne out to celebrate another great season in the Premiership.
Two bottles if we win!

Everton are shit, poorly managed and are going down. 4-0 to Stoke or I'm tearing up my season ticket.
Oh, and now we have hardened rimmers asking for entertainment. You couldn't make it up.
