Robstokie. I don't know where you get your figures from. The team who finishes bottom is guaranteed £99 million, the team at the top £156 million . The rest on a sliding scale. So you can hardly claim any team outside the top six are going to be poverty stricken. I think the new TV deal is great but only if the benefits are passed down to the fans. Ticket prices cannot stay at these ridiculous levels or they will start to kill off the atmosphere at grounds. If you don't have a season ticket or you go to away games the cost of football is out of the reach of many. Well done Palace fans!

Did anybody else spot the irony of the OP picture........not an empty seat to be seen but complaining about club greed (ie ticket prices). Whilst grounds are filled to near capacity every week, happily paying whatever clubs charge, ticket prices will never decrease by any significant amount. Maybe they are mostly all ST holders and like our prices early bird in the Boothen cost less than £20 a game If you went to 10 home games paying the individual prices for ech game, say 6 at cat A price and 4 at Cat B price how much would it cost?

It's not just the "boards" that are to blame, it's the players also. How much does it cost to pay a squad? Oh and let's not forget those greedy young so and so's who sell the refreshments at vastly overinflated prices. How much are they being payed???
TAKE THE CROWD OUT OF A TELEVISED GAME AND THAT GAME IS PRETTY MUCH WORTHLESS

Surely there needs to be some co ordination on this for it to have a real impact. Whatever we think of the london "ultras" the point is very valid and deserves our full support. Would be great to see something like this rolled out nationally amongst supporters

I would hope that the honest PL clubs (lead by Stoke) will petition the rest to implement rules that depress or at least suppress ticket prices. No club is going to do something unilaterally and make themselves uncompetitive.
