The powers that be, will most likely fine Palace to fill their coffers with even more money.

Maybe they could ask if they can play in another league in Europe. That way they may pay less, the club spend less, and we won't have to listen to all their foreign songs they've nicked

I wish the top 6 would fuck off to the Euro League like we all know they want to. It would end up being 11 year old gloryhunters shouting at each other and the rest of the world could forget all about it. Kind of like WWE.

Why've they got Mike Ashley on their banner?

Why've they got Mike Ashley on their banner? It does look as though it's based on Ashley. The black and white tie and hair. Don't know if they're using him as an example of the modern business man in football. There has long been a sentiment that you can no longer make money investing in a football club. That you have to fork out millions from your personal fortune to make a successful go of it. Well, some owners are making millions! And Ashley is one of them. He doesn't care about success. He's there to milk the cow. Then you have the Glazers. Didn't even cost them any money to buy Man United. The richest asset in world football! They borrowed money against the value of the club, to buy the club! How is that even possible?! I agree with the Palace lads sentiment completely. Football is killing itself.

Fair play to them, at least some fans had the balls to stand up to the corporate fat cats. Unfortunately, the banner is spot on. Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and possibly Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal will get 80%+ of the money to add to their already bulging bank balances, whilst the likes of Ourselves, Palace and the rest will get virtually nothing, thus further widening the gap between the big boys and the rest and adversely affecting everyone elses ability to compete with the big boys.

Frankly I'd settle just for manure and that clown with a dead ferret on his head (Rooney or van tosser - your choice) For the first time in my life I am applauding crystal palace (even though it feels shaming)

Bloody hell we've come a long way when £120 million is seen as virtually nothing. ????

I agree with all the above. I am afraid BPL will self-destruct (maybe that's the long-term plan) and be replaced by an elite Euro League in time. They could learn something from the NFL and the NBA that try to create parity by seeding the teams: Worst team one season has the easiest season the following year and so on. Worst team also gets highest draft choice the following season. Stadiums are full, players are rich, and owners still make a shit-load of money. Not suggesting that this system be adopted by any means, but something needs to be done - getting rid of corruption in FIFA (e.g. not re-electing Sheep's Bladder) would be a start (wishingful thinking?).

Explain. Basically, everyone is on an uneven footing with the big clubs even before the TV revenue comes into consideration. Im not saying it would make some huge difference if everyone outside the big 6 or 7 got equal money from the tv rights, but at least it would give the impression that we are at least valued equally (even though we are not by any stretch).

Bravo to the Palarse fans. A good point, well made, but one that will unfortunately be ignored.
Clubs like them, or more specifically fans like them, are good for balance in the Premier League. Rather watch Palace than ManUre or Chelsea any day. Mind you I'd rather watch The Vale than ManUre or Chelsea.

Good for them. Fans need to be more proactive.

Did anybody else spot the irony of the OP picture........not an empty seat to be seen but complaining about club greed (ie ticket prices). Whilst grounds are filled to near capacity every week, happily paying whatever clubs charge, ticket prices will never decrease by any significant amount.
