The great football and cricket teams A reasonable assumption Or maybe they think they can get in the cricket team, even though they've never held a bat before

As is Spain, Greece, Italy etc, Calais is I agree a bit of a shit hole all those camp things, there are however some stunning parts such as the Dordogne region. Still full of French people though I have not been over to Sarlat for a good few years, it was full of French people last time I was there, then again last time I went to Hastings it was full of English people not sure if the situation is still the same in both to be honest.

That has always been the story , the arrow in the eye .....but there is a school of thought that suggests it may have not been the case ......he may well have been separated from his personal bodyguard of Housecarls , and been hacked to death by a trio of Norman Knights beyond description ......whatever way , you are right it would have hurt !

If everything is hunky dory at home then generally people don't look at moving abroad.

I've been here for 10 days and i've yet to see the sun. It cost me £50 in petrol to drive to Hull. I can taxi the same distance in Thai for £15.

Do you have a connection with arsenal. Last I heard our economy was improving faster than anyone else's, not bad for a bunch of thicko. It's true, check the figures yourself. Our education stats are really poor. And if you think the UK has a fast growing economy then you ought to have a look round this planet...you might have a different opinion if you did. And what is the Arsenal comment about? Is Arsenal = All Things Bad or something? Jesus wept. Arsenal comment is mainly because you come across a bit of a twat. You may be a stoke fan, but you are calling us who live here thick. I bet as soon as you need proper health care you come here despite thailand being such a surperior place to live.

If everything is hunky dory at home then generally people don't look at moving abroad. As an expat myself id say theres a large amount of truth in that. It's pretty important nowadays to spend time working abroad but those long term expats i meet almost always have skeletons in their closets. You can be a big fish in a small pond in many ways when you live in certain countries.

Well looking at those points 1 by 1, then yes immigration does have a part to play in all of them. I don't blame the people who come to this "green and pleasant land" for wanting a better life, I blame the politicians for not looking after their constituents best interests. Remember Huddy, Vote UKIP. ;)

I'm not calling anybody thick ~ Christsakes read the posts correctly or I may have to. I'm quoting government and EU figures. Many EU migrants have better qualifications than Brits. How is that calling anyone thick? I find that figure sad. And where have I stated that Thailand is a superior place to live? Does my head in sometimes. I just like having a look around this big ball we call earth. I met a nice Thai lady and stayed put for a bit. England is my home, in Thailand i'm a guest. And thanks for calling me a twat. Some of yous need to start reading the posts correctly or we will end up with a steaming pile of bigoted shit for a message board. The ability to read is something of an important pre-requisite on here Mr. Codeye.

"Thailand, since the 60's one of the most dangerous places on earth" (((Shudders))) No thanks I used to live in Manila (Pasig City and Makati). Now that's a properly dangerous place. I was the only white man in Pasig City and perhaps I got to experience what being a true outsider actually feels like. Some of yous may well have benefited from that experience.

Jesus wept fishface, are you seriously suggesting that all ex-pats are criminals and troublemakers now? Grow up ffs.

So back to onto the subject, they've probably heard about our generous benefits system from reading the mail online, 'Afghan gamily in £2m mansion' 'family with 8 kids gets merc and a minibus and a huge house' They all must think or get told about it by the gang masters and smugglers
