With Ireland and Bojan out and Adam seemingly unfit and a bit of liability most of the time how do you think we should lineup against city and blackburn, and more importantly who should be charged with creating chances with the injuries we have at the moment? Will Hughes throw Crouch up top with Walters in the hole? Whats our best option now? Will we consider another formation?

I think Charlie but it's obvious that Hughes doesn't rate him that much.
Arnie could possibly play there but can't see hughes putting him there.

Can't see him going with Adam.
Didn't he go with Diouf off Crouch in the away game, and can see him maybe going with that again?
If not, suppose it'll be Walters behind Crouch with Diouf wide?

Sidwell could also come in alongside Whelan and push SNZ further forward, particularly away from home or against the stronger teams.

Diouf without a shadow of a doubt, put Crouch up front with Walters and Adam close by and we will be about as quick as a broken kettle boiling.
All three lack pace .
We have tried it before and its painful to watch.

Typically Steven Ireland isn't it.
Comes into the side, plays well, gets injured after a game or two and has to miss another month of action. He is forever trying to get fit.
Shame really because as a footballer, I really like him.
With Ireland being out, much depends on Arnie being fit. We still have options that we haven't tried so given that Zabaletta is a beast of a full-back I'd be tempted to go with the following;
Asmir Bardsley, Wolschied, Muniesa, Wilson (is Wilson fit even? If not, Cameron right back, Bardsley left back) Walters, Whelan, N'zonzi, Arnie Moses Diouf
4-4-1-1
Play Moses through the middle and behind the front man. Pace will be vital in this game and for that reason, Crouch misses out again, with Arnie switching back to the left to cause Zabeletta some problems but also to stop his marauding forward runs.
If Arnie is injured, then Crouch has to play as we have no other options.

I'd like to see muni there, but we can't spare him at the back with Ryan out. So it's Charlie I guess.

Sidwell could also come in alongside Whelan and push SNZ further forward, particularly away from home or against the stronger teams. After seeing James Milners free kick on Saturday, I wouldn't let Sidwell and Adam anywhere near the pitch, or at least 40 yards from our goal, they are liabilities in giving them away

I suspect Ireland may be one of those players who needs to play reasonably regularly to stay fit. I hate the present U21 development squad system - the old days of reserve teams seemed to cater better for players recovering from injury and young players on the fringe of the first team. I understand that one of the reasons why the old reserve teams were abandoned was because modern millionaire players who were not in the first team didn't want the ignominy of reserve team football.

I'd give Moses a go there. Arnie on the left and try moses behind diouf think pace will be important tommorow.

You want to play a centre back in the hole? I'm sure some people on this board know NOTHING about football

Crouch and Diouf up front. Moses and Walters wide. That's what I would go with. Alternative is Nzonzi forward with Sidwell in or even Arnie in the hole. Maybe an opportunity to test Shenton?

What's really good is that despite all the injuries we still have good options both re personnel and tactics/formations. Not so many options at the back mind.

I'm torn between -
Walters - Whelan - N'zonzi - Moses Diouf - Crouch
&
Arnie - Whelan - N'Zonzi - Moses Walters Diouf

Begovic Cameron Wolschied Muniesa Bardsley Whelan N Zonzi Walters Diouf Moses Crouch
Will be the team if no injuries have cleared up. If Marko is fit i'd drop Crouch, move Walters inside and put him wide right.

N'Zonzi has plenty of qualities, but scoring is not one of them, so why put him in the hole where he's never played, against Man City?
