It's not even about that for me (I'd rest players vs Blackburn), I'm just on about if Adam is an option, I'd prefer Shenton. Ok in that case ..... I totally agree For what it's worth I think we'll see a pretty much unchanged side in both games. Maybe with Sidwell starting in one of them.

Man CIty haven't won any of their last 5 games. Surely that can't go on? Why not? The pressure is on them on Wednesday, and their record at the Brit won't fill them with confidence.

Crouch will almost definitely start he loves a goal against Citeh. Scored almost every time at the Brit I think

Is it just me that'd start Shenton over Adam? I don't think Adam will start anyway truth be told but I think Man City at home is just the ideal game for such a call. With the hope he'd run rings around those 2 dodgy cumbersome fucks they have in midfield with his youth and skill. Absolutely nothing to lose. It's probably way too soon and won't happen but it'd be nice if it did. Throw in a kid who we've seen ten minutes of against the worlds best players. Are you having a laugh

Adam would be fucked by 30 minutes if he started I can see it being quite a fast game Man City need to win to have any chance of holding onto the title if they lose or draw its lights out imo

Begovic Cameron-Muniesa-Wollscheid-Bardsley Whelan-N'Zonzi Walters-Diouf-Moses Crouch
Butland Wilkinson Teixeira Sidwell Palacios Adam
Worst case scenario, bench could be a bit thin on Wednesday then?
Who's the 7th man? Shenton? And potentially no real forward options.

Ireland sounds like he'll be fit to start it atleast make the bench and he's sorely needed! The bench in FM's post is horrible, basically it's the first XI and that's it because the only way any of those subs would come on is for more injuries, with exception of Adam perhaps.
Is Arnautovic certain to miss out?

I'd definitely have Ireland on against City, think he'll be fit and up for it. Not with hamstring trouble he won't.

With our injury situation and our upcoming F.A. Cup game in mind, admit it, we all want to go to Wembley. Some players are less effective and more prone to injury on a cold winters night. We would all be very pleased with a point, 3 would be orgasmic, 0 and we have Saturday to look forward to. This is why I advocate utilising Adam, and hoping Arne can strut his stuff, whileh the players that they replace, can if needed, come on as subs.

OK I'll stick my head over the parapet: MH had Palacios on the bench yesterday, would he do that if there is no chance of MH expecting him to play at some point?

Quite rightly I don't think he'll risk Ireland's hamstring. For me id like to see NZonzi in a more advanced role. If go with this
.........................Bego......................
GCam.......Wolli.........Muni.....Bards
.............Whelan........Sidwell............
..Arno...............NZonzi..........Moses
..........................Diouf......................

Interesting proposition, but who is going to score? We have to have at least one regular goal scorer on the park. Since he played so well at ManC I'd pick Crouch; he was one our best defenders that day.

I'd rather play with 10 then have whelan and sidwell in midfield, no where near enough quality.
Give charl a run out

Is anyone watching Panorama?
It appears the Stoke owner is a tax dodging cûnt!
How about a chant of "Humphries, pay yer tax. Humphries Humphries pay yer tax"?
time to abuse them for having a tax-dodging director, after all the crap we've had over CFG from liars.
off blue moon wtf that all about lol

Interesting that Collymore has us down as a home victory in his predictions. Their title challenge would be pretty much over then.
