Harry Kane: Build England around striker - MurphyGreat potential and he's having an amazing season, but come on, this is fucking nonsense and why many of the decent English prospects fail because morons build them up to be world class after a couple of good games. When did the standards at the BBC drop so low that we're left with Murphy and Savage as pundits!?

He should go to the U21 tournament in the summer and gain experience there. Not in some pointless friendly games in a half empty Wembley stadium.

I'm in the keep him in the U-21 side camp too. After the summer then move him up. We have plenty of striking options as it is, winning the U-21 tournament should be the priority.

Get him in the England team. Get him in the team yes. Build it around him though? Not yet, Jesus. Ings apparently a lock to get a call-up for the Lithuania game too.

As a Spurs fan and lover of England lets send a team out there to win the tournament. Kane can come in later. Need to include Sterling, Barclay, Oxo-Chambermaid and all who would qualify.

Build the U21 team around him, but he should get a call up to the senior squad, guy is on fire.
22 goals in all competitions, Only Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar have more from Europe's top leagues.

Are we getting a bit carried away with Kane? He could end up being a one season wonder. Lets see if he can cut it with the u21s before we try and turn him into a world beater.

To be fair he has played well for more than a couple of games, he has pretty much carried spuds this season. Building the team around him is just ridiculous, but I really hope he gets wiltshires place in the england team.

Get him in the Southampton team straight away where Woy can keep a proper eye on him.

This is the main reason why we fail in my opinion. Need to get a winning team coming through the Under-21s first. Get them used to playing with each other. We throw any Tom, Dick or Harry (no pun intended) in to the side straight away these days.

That was a cracking header yesterday and whilst Shawcross made him look pretty lousy, whenever I've seen him, he looks to have many of the attributes of Alan Shearer. The likeness is actually a bit uncanny.
He looks a decent player to me. Sturridge/Kane front 2 for England though means no Rooney and we all know that won't happen.

Really can't see how the hell Wazza could ever get picked for England again when you think of all the young quick players we can choose from. He seems undroppable tho for that arsehole Woy

Not at the moment. In 2/3 years, maybe. It's refreshing to see top notch strikers like Kane, Ings and Austin coming through though. Finally a bit of light in the England tunnel.

Do you think Woy and the FA will have the bollocks to select the likes of Wilshere, Sterling, Chambo etc in the U-21's? I hope they do.
And with the more senior players they should play in the final qualifer we have then be dropped down to the U-21 side so they can gel together. It's time we started to take these tournaments seriously.
