P.S. Hope my spelling is okay because the Spelling Police are after me, no names mentioned Grammar police here. After 'me', should have been either a period or semi-colon. Clearly using a period would require the 'no' to be 'No', but I'm assuming your rudimentary skills are, at least, to this level? A period?? We are not Americans just yet.

Actually, I live there now and my head is mush. I don't know what's American and what's not, anymore.

Barton's right. Hughes was crap at QPR. He made big mistakes, learned from them, and we're reaping the benefit. Now Mr Charisma Barton will be playing against Rotherham next season. Ho ho ho and hee hee hee. What he learned was don't get employed by anyone who tells him what players to buy and what players to play Agreed. I get confused by people who say Hughes had a nightmare at QPR and it was all his fault. If you read, Hughes would turn up on a Monday and some new randomer would turn up and say "hello, I'm the new guy, your boss signed me". The toxic atmosphere at that club has been clearly evident before and since Hughes. A bit disappointing to see Barton bashing him though. I actually like Joey Barton as a player. He's a talented footballer and one of the old fashioned 100% every game guys, however it's hard to defend him when he makes such bullshit statements.

Did Hughes manage Barton at Man City? He's probably got it in for him. Barton got a 12 match ban for trying to head butt Vincent Kompany and kneeing Sergio Aguero. As a result, Hughes removed him as captain, took away his shirt number and sent him on pre-season training at Fleetwood town, before shipping him off to Marseille on loan, to get rid. Barton thinks he is QPR and for Hughes to do all that to him; you bet your arse, Barton has it in for him. Barton needs a 12 match ban for being Barton...what a cock he really is!!

I rarely take much notice of what footballers say as it's usually glib asinine soundbite rubbish. So Barton speaks and it should be a breath of fresh air to hear a player with an opnion. Problem is on the subject of nogger he speaks such rubbish he needn't bother.

Problem is on the subject of nogger he speaks such rubbish he needn't bother. I think that's the daft part about Barton. He clearly has a brain in there. He's shown a lot of other footballers that it's okay to speak out on controversial subjects if you can express your opinion in a smart fashion and has shown that for a working class kid with little education, he's not quite as dumb as you'd think. Working class smart, so to speak. Which is why it's all the more infuriating when he makes comments like this, that are based on complete bullshit and have no factual accuracy. Perhaps he's said it in the heat of the moment. He's a passionate guy. The irony of the stick he gets is that if he played for Stoke, we'd love him. Arnie and others get so much stick for sometimes not putting 100% in, well Barton, does, every week. The only way a player can hammer his current club (as Barton has, repeatedly) and still win over the fans is by doing what he's done. I wouldn't take him now, but 4 years ago? In a heartbeat.

He's just taking every opportunity he can to snipe at Hughes, because he wishes him ill. He probably resents how good a job Hughes is doing at Stoke too! Every Stoke win probably eats away at him?

There was some Barton-esque reasoning on here last season when some were prepared to blame Pulis if we went down.
