For reasons too dull to explain I was in the Arsenal section for that game. i.e. Stoke End Paddock.

I always thought the plastic pitch at QPR looked quite smart. Ball used to bounce summat wicked though GD

That second half of 83-84 was a thrill a minute, to this then 11 year old lad. Alan Hudson was at the centre of everything. Beating that great Liverpool team 2-0 stands out.

I saw the photo of him before the Sentinel pop up adverts kicked in. I was at that match and he was magnificent, as he was for the rest of the season. He was like a mature Bojan.

Actually, I am prepared to put up with the dullness to find out how you managed to find yourself in the away fans section? I sold programmes at the Vic & had a pass which meant I could go in any (standing anyway) part of the ground I liked. Used to regularly watch one half in the Main stand paddock & the other in the Boothen End. Anyway big mate of mind supports Arsenal & we went in the away section. Can't have been more than a 1000 Arsenal fans, maybe a lot less. Nothing unusaual in small away followings in the 80's mind.
