I would hate living in a Bungalow, the only exercise I get is coming down the stairs in the morning and going back up em again at night.

I've got a weak bladder and live in a semi. Up and down the stairs all the time. Bolloxed at the end of the day!

6.30 in the gym 4 days a week 20 minutes cardio 20 minute HIIT session 20 minute weight session Shower and off to work for some Weetabix
Beginning to see some results after a few months of hard work. Not had a beer yet this month which is making a huge difference.

Weight Loss is 80% what you eat and 20% exercise. Exercise is more for a healthy mind and attitude. If you just want lose weight then eat less...and eat better. If you want to be physically and mentally tuned then exercise.

Gym work is good stuff though - I do my sessions in the evenings though. Like you a mixture of stuff. Oh, and one other thing - I (mostly) use stairs not lifts or escalators. The lifts at my work are so slow you are just as fast walking to the 4th floor!

Brisk 2 mile walk every morning with the dog. Longer walks at weekend. In spring, summer and autumn kayaking on local rivers and devon Coast line most weekends. Nothing massively harsh but at 61 it's diet more than anything for me but my big failing is Hobgoblin.

Agreed, for the majority of folk, fitness is a question of choice. Some people will have conditions that limit how much exercise they do, but for the rest if you are unfit, it's because you choose to be unfit. The good news is, you can also choose to be fit - and the better news it's easy to do; eat less and exercise more. Simple.

Gym after work most days only been back into it for 3 months but started to get in my stride now. Mix of everything although I put my heart and sole into a run last night when I got home I had to strip off and grab a flannel with cold water felt like I was going collapse, that's when you know you have worked hard. I think for some good advice to anyone is sign up for a half marathon or 5k run if your not the fittest just so you have some determination and something to work towards.

It's the only thing that got me through the last Ashes series and I'm already stocking up for the summer ! Any more palatable tips than this would be welcomed though

Could manage that without any problem up to my mid twenties, since then...

I cover about 40 miles a week along with lifting and carrying very heavy dogs , interspersed with Wrestling a Pack of Huskies every week .... Heaviest dog on the books weighs 15st 6 and is a female St Bernard...She's one fat Bitch ! Then there's mauling 20kg bags of Dog Food and filling in pot holes with limestone hardcore when needed. So...no I don't do anything special .
