Would you be prepared to pay more for your season ticket if it meant that there was more chance of buying a couple of £10-15m type players? I think I would.

I'm not sure we need to find for players via gate money. In comparison to what we get from sky the prices don't make much of a difference to our earnings

With 20,000 season ticket holders, I think there'll need to be a fair old rise to afford two £15m players!

Stop encouraging the club to put prices up please. There is plenty of money coming into the club from tv etc.

I won't make any difference. It's pocket money compared to the total earnings of the club. If anything, prices should be going down.

Gate receipts represent 8% of total income , so an increase would would be negligible

Even a 10% price rise would only bring in £6 or 7 million assuming that season ticket sales didn't go down which they would.
Really not worth it would be better off filling in the corner and having more people in the ground.

Prices should be slashed on the back of the massive amount of TV cash clubs are getting. You can watch a Bundesliga game for around £11 ! Clubs are losing generations of working class people who would love to attend matches but can't afford to go. I recently paid £44 for a shite view seat in Q Railing lower, I think that is scandalous in an area renowned for low wages. So all talk of increasing prices I think is asking for empty seats. Fill the corners in, provide some standing areas and cut the prices !

Really not worth it would be better off filling in the corner and having more people in the ground. You are dreaming. Total gate receipts are around £8 million. If we doubled all prices we would be lucky to generate an extra £5 million I would guess. TV money and Bet 365 fund the club, gate receipts are almost irrelevant,

I would pay more to see better players, yes. Not because the two are index linked but because I would be prepared to put more in if the owners were.
What i wouldn't be in favour of is increased prices whilst we play at chasing some of the bigger names and we end up shrugging our shoulders saying "at least we tried".
It's a fine balance.

Anyone who looks at a pie chart of club revenue, and the tiny slither that is generated from ticket sales will know that anything short of a 200% increase wouldn't even make a dent.
They don't need to go up and raising them by what say £20 will generate £400,000 extra?
The days of fans paying the wages are over, look at Wigan.

Onlooker. It's not about whether you or me can afford to pay more to go and watch. It's about the bigger picture . It's not about who can afford more but who can't afford now. Price the product properly , extend the stadium and fill it and the club wouldn't be any worse off!

There is absolutely no justification in the club increasing its prices. In fact it would make little difference to revenue if prices were cut by 75%. This LaLa land that is the Premier League and its financial bubble will burst one day and the sooner the better.

Season tickets have reduced in value since 2007.A boothen end season ticket 2007 was £344 season ticket 2014 £344.Iflation over 7 year period =14 per cent,so in real terms our season tickets are approx. £49 pound cheaper than 2007.Saying that outside income has out grown the importance of season tickets.

Where we have to improve is with the commercial deals, hospitality, utilising the Brit outside of matchdays and sponsorship deals.

I'd prefer the players to take £50 of their monthly wage instead

Very good of the club to freeze prices the way that they have, arguably that £49 drop in real terms probably counteracts the fact that a lot of people's wages have dropped in real terms over the last 7 years by a similar percentage.

40,000 x £500 = £20,000,000 how long does it take to spend 20 million quid on buying and paying a striker? I honestly think that the early bird price of a Boothen End season ticket is more than enough and what's more I think that should be the match day price, also if a club charges us £50 for an away ticket we should charge them the same plus a 10% booking fee and we should also remove the roof from over their heads
