i'd rather they did that which is showing some balls and solidarity than what the rest of the media have done i.e. come out and say how much they stand up for free speech and how we shouldn't give in to these people yet at the same time being far too scared to actually publish the "Offensive" piece.
"Yeah we're with you man! It's terrible and we should all stand up to them and publish whatever we want..as long as it's someone else taking the risk by publishing it and we can't possibly get in trouble for it that is"

It seems the majority of the British press have given up with it already. Not many of them showing the new Charlie Hebdo front page. IF they don't show it, how can they keep on bleating about a free press? They only seem interested in intruding into peoples private lives. When it's time to make a stand and actually inform us of whats happeneing they show themselves up as cowards. Who'd of thought papers like The Sun & The Mail would be hiding behind The Guardian?

It seems the 150 children and teachers slaughtered in Pakistan a month ago have been forgotten Yes, and unfortunately in one month from now Charlie will be forgotten and the media will be plastering the air waves with the next big crisis: it's the end of the worls as we know it, until the next one . ..

Only just, they have a small picture of it being shown in another publication. How can you have a story about a picture, without it being the main picture in the story? It seems the BBC nave acknowledged it needs to be shown but have done their best to show it in the most obscure way possible.

The picture is shown alongside the text that talks about the cover, which is mentioned further down the story.

Why not just show a picture of the front page in the story about that front page? Or is that just too simple? Showing a picture of the front page in some other story just doesn't seem to add up really. When I'm reading a Stoke report I don't normally expect to see a story about basketball, but hey perhaps that's just me.

That leftist, liberal, tree-hugging, English hating, Muslim loving, news outlet of The Guardian showed it.
I'm instantly boycotting anything they print in future, the fucking foreigner loving tossers.

When I'm reading a Stoke report I don't normally expect to see a story about basketball, but hey perhaps that's just me. The story is an overall look at Paris several days after the event - from the PM's commments to funerals and identities of some of the victims, and including that front cover story. I've got no idea why they've shown the cover within another story - to me it's the same as showing the image. Given all the outrage was about media organisations not publishing the offending front covers, it now seems showing them is not enough. Not sure what people want - change the BBC logo to a cartoon of Muhammad?
