Anyone else listening to this odious, pompous little tosser giving Stoke a right mauling?
Every time I hear his views, I feel compelled to vomit.

He said he'd seen us 5-6 times, and described us as an "awful" team, solely reliant on Delap's long throws who wil get "slaughtered every week" if we go up.

Well at least he won't be seeing us next year. Because he's a shit pundit, they won't allow him to watch Premiership football

Ahhh so he hasn't seen us at all then! We rely on Lawrences set pieces too shit for brains! And Mams flicking abilities, Fullers trickery, Whelans passing, Cresswells anticipation, Delaps work rate, Corts headers, Shawcross' general all round defensive/offensive ability, Riggotts reading of the game, Dickinsons pride and Nashs ability of being able to catch more of a cold than Simmo!

Yep - another one "on the list" then. We should compile a list of everyone who's slagged, under-rated, criticised, patronised, ignored and generally been negative towards us then get someone to ring Five Live's phone in or "You're on Sky Sports (woop-de-doo)" and in their best Pottermouth accent do the "Norwegian (Hello of a beating) speech" ;D . After Sunday of course.

He was on Sportsweek with Gary Richardson a couple of Sunday's ago saying much the same thing.
Could have chucked the radio out of the window there and then.
The guy has the most boring voice I have ever heard and a face fit for radio. Lazy journalism of the worst sort, how many times has he been to the Brit this season?

Total football then. How will the Premier League teams cope? Maybe Arsenal and Man U will have to resort to hoofball.

It's an indisputable truth that you don't get to second in the league by being "awful".
That's proof positive of the difference between second place in the league and the role of radio pundit.

Heard some of it, about how we only rely on Delap throw ins. Yes a good ploy that causes problems in the penalty area to lots of teams but wasn't John Arne Riise doing just the same thing against Chelsea the other night ?
Many teams use the long throw these days, not just Stoke.
Does he not realise we have 3 players in the PFA championship team of the year and none of them are Delap ?
Also we have the highest rated player in the division in Liam Lawrence.
What paper does he work for ?

Quite frankly, if he really did say that we rely solely on Delap's throws, then he's in need of immediate psychiatric help and we shouldn't give him a second thought.
Indeed, if he carries on like that, the next time he's due to appear on the radio one of his colleagues will have to do "a Faceman" and masquerade as a doctor in order to bust him out of the "home".

All this dross about 'we'll get slaughtered every week because we don't play carpet football', I totally and utterly disagree with. I think we'd be better off playing the style we play now. Getting in teams faces and battering them with Mama and Fuller. West Brazil won't break teams down passing sideways. They could do that all day long in front of Vidic and Ferdinand, Terry and Carvalho. I'd like to see them defenders deal with the huge presence of Sidibe! ;D

I think about 7 or 8 of our league goals have come from Delap throws - an excellent return and all the more reason to persevere with them, but given that we've scored 69 goals this season, it's hardly "relying" on them is it?

Come on now. Play fair. Yes, he did say that the championship is poor this season, which it is, (in quality, if not excitement) but Mick is the only media fella who has said that "no team stands out and, although WBA are toted by everyone as the best team, their defence is very poor." Quite so. Not that it has anything to do with me, who said precisely that to him, at the PFA Dinner on Sunday. If he is at the Brit, tomorrow, (the Press sit a few rows behind me) I'll be challenging his contention that we "rely solely on set-pices" suggesting that it is up to the opposition to suss this out and do something about it. Agreed?

Why is it 'poor'? Because West Brom haven't romped away with the title?
And if he sits near you just pour Bovril on his lap ;D
