Apologies if this has already been done but anyone else hear it?
The show was hosted by Ian Wright who sounds certifiably mad to me and a girl called Kelly who seemed to be struggling a bit for a number of reasons but mostly because her responses to callers bore absolutely no relation at all to what they actually said. She sounded like a Radio 1 DJ who had been parachuted in to the wrong studio.
Anyway point is the 2 of them were queuing up the Arsenal v Stoke game and the storyline was to be that Arsenal had played an absolute blinder to get past strong-arm Stoke who had been their usual obdurate and difficult to beat selves.
So the last thing either Wrighty or Kelly expected was the first caller 'Angela' from Stoke to make no reference to Arsenal at all and to simply tear in to a long rant about what a woeful performance the Potters had put in and to castigate both the management and the team alike.
Before Wrighty or Kelly either could speak Angela set out her somewhat brusque disciplinary strategy which is to be a long cross country run for our team this morning followed by passing and shooting practice then a military style training camp in the afternoon. Hughes and Bowen will not be exempt either, Hughes for his failure to drag himself up from his seat to shout any words of encouragement until the 83rd minute, they will attend a motivational management course today. So it was all great stuff and left out hosts speechless.
Angela was then cut off and a banal dialogue ensued between Kelly and Wrighty as to whether Wright would have attended such a recuperative session as Angela had recommended in his playing day.
Whether you agree with Angela or not I did enjoy the way it hijacked the show and completely blew the story line off course!

Whether you agree with Angela or not I did enjoy the way it hijacked the show and completely through the story line of course! 606 ceased to be worth listening to once Danny Baker fell foul of his bosses with an anti-Luton rant. It then turned into everything he said it would - largely vacuous platitudes and inarticulate opinions. And the callers are generally woeful too.. "Kevin from Trowbridge here. Just calling to say I thought the ref at Old Trafford/Anfield/The Emirates/Stamford Bridge was awful. Well, no - I wasn't actually at the game. No, I have never seen Man Utd/Liverpool/Arsenal/Chelsea play in the flesh. But I followed the game on social media..."... Utter drivel much of the time. So I did not hear Angela - but you are spot on, ie she was spot on. We were dire...!

Great to hear someone getting Stoke in without a mention of the big teams. Well done to her!

Would this be Angela Smith - Ange1 off this board? It wasn't her mate she said last night on the Sports show you could hardly hear Why haven't they sorted the sound out on KnotFM? It was never great, but you could HEAR it, but in recent months the sound problem has made the whole Sunday programme un workable for me. Pity - I used to enjoy it - but I shan't be tuning in again until they sort it out.

Spot on LP and like I said last night on the Sports show thread the person who sorts the sound out wants either re-training or sacking. It is a really good when you can hear it but like you say people will just give up on it in the end.

I thought she was great spoke from the heart like a true fan who is pissed off when half the team simply don't turn up , considering how much they earn asking them to work for slightly less than two hours most weeks should not be a massive ask but on our bad days it seems to be .

It started off as an attack on the players for their performance, but very quickly turned into a full-on anti-Hughes, pro-Pulis rant. Obviously someone who'd seen all our previous glorious victories at the Arse.

As Muttley stated, it wasn't me. I did hear the "rant" and whether you agree with the content or not, you can't deny the passion of the caller, must be something to do with the name As for the sound problem. I am baffled as to what it is. We have some people who say they can't hear (as Muttley and Lakeland state) and some who have no problem at all. We are trying to find a solution.

It cuts out once or twice per program on Tune In since I started listening ages back. The stream dies. Sometimes there are points where interviews are hard to hear and other pre recorded audio but overall its OK. Is there a podcast up yet?

I heard her. Fine to a point but she fell for the red herring that is the Manager just sat there. I seem to remember Chris Kamara running up and down the touchline like a complete loon and look how successful he was.

Obviously someone who'd seen all our previous glorious victories at the Arse. Good on her! I'm with her all the way. We were very very poor, just as we were last week v Wrexham. A team reflects the manager (usually) Hughes couldn't be arsed getting off his back side until 83 mins and most the team couldn't be arsed full stop. Angela is spot on. A bloody gruelling cross country run in wind & rain, a boot camp and endless sessions on shape, defending and discipline. oh and maybe telling players what their jobs are (they clearly do not know!) and making sure that they understand that!

Managers ranting and raving on the touchline are proven at preventing getting mullered 7 nil etc...
More agenda ridden bollocks from so called adults.
