What ever happened to him? Did he retire as seemed to just vanish. Remember when he got lost after a match trying to find the press office, ended up at the Pets at Home depot!

Probably in a hotel room with his brother Tesfaye, giving some broad what's known as "The Bramble Sandwich".

Now me and the owd man have a chat every now and then about football, normally whilst it's on the tv.. We have a list of footballers that we feel have been very lucky and stolen a healthy living playing the sport.. Titus Bramble tops the list every time we speak, not quite sure how that bloke ever made it as a professional footballer.. The only time I'd ever see him on match of the day was when he swung for the ball, missed and ended up face first on the turf.

The only time I'd ever see him on match of the day was when he swung for the ball, missed and ended up face first on the turf. To be fair to old Titus, there was once a time, long long ago that he very much looked a quality young defender and had the potential to really do something. He was very highly rated at Ipswich, hence why Newcastle spunked so much money on him. The problem is, at the very beginning, he was rather error prone. Now, a young error prone defender can be forgiven, let's not forget Rio Ferdinand was equally hit and miss in the early days. The problem is Titus never seemed to mature and iron these bizarre errors out of his game. His footballing brain never seemed to grow with experience. He made the same poor judgements and daft errors when playing for Sunderland that he did with Newcastle. He had a very brief stint of excellence at Wigan picking up player of the year and showing what might have been however it didn't last long and a season later he was back to his old self. As awful as Bramble was, I can see why successive managers took punts on him. There's many other players who I would put above him.

he hasn't been with a club since the end of the 2102/13 season so he has probably retired

Was actually okay for us and largely solid
Problem is, as someone has already pointed out, that he is error prone and when he makes a mistake - it usually gets punished
He became fat as **** in the PDC era though, which is why PDC wanted him gone (not due to his lack of ability, but lack of fitness)

Surprised he didn't start off in the BDO though!

Rather topically, it was actually his brother Tes Bramble who was sent down for rape, served 2 1/2 years of a 4 1/2 year sentence, imposed around 2010 ish I think
On a personal level, after watching football for over 50 years, Tes Bramble holds the record for the fastest red card I've ever seen, sent off in under 10 minutes, playing for Stockport County, for a wild challenge in the first ever Cheshire derby between Macclesfield Town and Stockport County on Boxing Day, 2005
He was about as good as Titus
